Worst performance I have seen for a very long time.

All on Pep. What the fuck was he watching.

Akanji was comical, beaten to every header and positionally all over the shop. Soft as shit.

Phil was crap again wide left, goal notwithstanding.

As for putting him at left-back with Bernie for the set-pieces in the dying minutes, the writing was on the wall.

Gundo should have been hooked in the first half, him and Rodri rarely work against teams who chase down.

The smart move seemed to be Grealish on, Phil to the right, Bernie inside.

Special mention for Cancelo, who spent the entire afternoon being an absolute shithouse and feigning injury. As for his penalty dive, why? The guy would have a clear shot across goal on his left foot.

Kudos to Eddie, Laporte, Bernie and Stones. They played for the team, the rest played within themselves or for themselves.

The back 4 were vulnerable all game and Akanji should not be in the team ahead of Dias / Ake.

Not even December and already we are down to one average left back, 2 right backs, one of whom plays left back and the othe is 17. Yet again we have a majorly unbalanced squad. The fact that we can use 5 substitutes hopefully means that once the world Cup is done we buy another left back and this time someone who is better than anyone we currently have.

Well to start with, credit to Brentford. They kept an organised defence and every counter attack was dangerous.

We looked poor and very predictable due to Haaland. The lad scored loads so far but I’m not sure yet he improves our game. And it’s not his fault directly. But we try to play him all the time.

Anyway. Shit happens. Let’s get back to winning ways … in 6-7 weeks time.

Dias has, by his standards, been iffy at times this season.

Yes we play pretty football,but if it takes an age to get to the opposition penalty area,they then have all their men behind the ball.Pace is lacking all over the team,Pace won the game for Brentford,lack of Pace was the difference,plus KdB had his worst performance ever!first 15 mins he gave away possession 8 times,the fans can see Gundog and KdB together doesn’t work,Right I’ve had my dig at City,Have you ever seen a more abismaL performance from a ref ,God I thought Walton was bad but this idiot brought the house down .Pep without pace against a ten man defence is crazy.You good see there second goal coming .PS the service to Haarland was pathetic.

Tough to articulate just how poor that was today.

De Bruyne, probably his worst performance for City.

Another shocker for Akanji who hardly won a challenge all day.

Rodri, Cancelo, Stones and Gundogan all poor too.

Pep should get a lot of critisicism for a very poor team selection. We never tend to perform well with all 4 midfielders and Stones is the personification of a square peg in a round hole. Not to mention the lack of subs.

Signing a proper full back is an absolute priority in January to bring some balance back to the team.

I would asses the half way point as 5 or 6/10

We have had a bit of luck & scored a few screamers to save us in games.

Sadly I see a general decline in peps team. I’m hoping once world cup out of the way we go again & get back to being City.

We could be at a turning point. Bernie & Gundy likely to go & it’s even possible this is peps last chapter.

We just seem a little unbalanced & lacking of energy & pace.
