We got him on a free and he's not put a foot wrong until tonight. Feel for him because realistically, we'd have lost that game regardless.

Poor positioning is a consequence of peps demands, it's unconventional and you can look a twat when that happens but that's what Pep asks for.
his starting position, despite what the commentary said wasn't the problem, Ederson is in that vulnerable position all the time, he's just quicker at reacting, problem was he didn't re-adjust quickly enough when any pass behind the line for him to sweep stopped being an option.
It's a mistake by him but it's not as big of a mistake as it would seem and for a guy that barely plays its unreasonable to not expect the odd one or two. Made a good save first half, he's comfortably the best second keeper we've had for a while and we would struggle to find better.
He'll play against Arsenal in the FA Cup.It’ll be the last we see of him this season though barring an injury

It was poor positioning, but it wasn't because he'd come out too far. He was there to create angles for the back pass and we gave away the ball. He didn't get back quickly enough.Poor positioning, yea 5 miles off his line you can safely say poor positioning fuck me
He was excellent against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup a few weeks ago.He better fucking not
Like I said, his starting position was exactly what ederson does, people who look at keeping in the traditional way will say its a poor starting position but Pep demands it, can't call him out for something Pep insists on. the entire high backline relies on him being in a poor starting position to sweep.Poor positioning, yea 5 miles off his line you can safely say poor positioning fuck me
Stop talking sense on here!Like I said, his starting position was exactly what ederson does, people who look at keeping in the traditional way will say its a poor starting position but Pep demands it, can't call him out for something Pep insists on. the entire high backline relies on him being in a poor starting position to sweep.
As I said, his error was he was too slow to react to the play and backtrack, it's a minor error really but it's costly when it's punished like that and looks ridiuclous.
He can also justifiably ask why the fuck did our defence let Djenepo have all the time in the world 20-25 yards out to pull off a casual chip, if walker engages as he should, he doesn't get the opportunity to do that.
A definite upgrade on SteffenWolfBeen brilliant until tonight. Forget and move on
