United (A) | Post Match Thread

Oh dear...another one who cant have a reasoned debate without resorting to petty name calling....
well what do you expect ,you have been taking the piss for the last 8 hours with your "reasoned debate", every single poster has called you a wum for your opinion, even ric asked you politely to fuck off, if you agree with something that everyone else can see is wrong and not just city fans and then go on about it for 8 hours you're going to get abuse, you aren't having a reasoned debate you actually look like you're wumming , now carry on like you have been doing in a pub and i fancy you would of got a slap, not by me i hastened to add , i'm a lover not a fighter , but nobody likes a know it all who has actually got it totally wrong and doesnt shut up about it.

No ref should be giving that goal from just the live play.

The lino clearly flagged for starters and var should at least have referred atwell to the monitor, as it was I suspect they just whispered in his ear that there was no offside issue.

Even by keeping quiet var have conciously made that decision, and like I said, no one else gets it given.

Rules are there to be manipulated at the moment, fans will get fed up though, and no amount of "evening it up" is gonna wash with true footy fans.

Having said that, the tv companies who now own football would be happy to just cater for the teams with the most armchair supporters, so it could be a dark period coming up.
According to the media VAR never got involved at anytime. Attwell checked with the linesman that Rashford didn’t touch the ball. When they both agreed no he gave the goal. VAR didn’t intervene as not clear and obvious. This was an abysmal decision and I suspect we’ll get the apology this week but it’s too late.

I’m even more behind the lads after yesterday.

If that wasn’t proof finally that most weeks we are playing against far more than 11 players on a pitch I will never know what is?

To have had the success we have had over the years against the bias and cheating we have already faced is a miracle.

Make no mistake, it ain’t going away anytime soon either.
Agreed and me too.
As a player, when you see things like that go against you (especially against certain teams) , you know something’s not quite right, your head is bound to go and you’re just wondering what’s going to happen next.

Let’s get behind them, and the team need to learn to leave nothing open to ‘interpretation’ for the officials to grasp on to.

Most of these players wouldn't get in last years squad. Feel sorry for Phil, plays like a tin soilder, scared to play his game, incase he's dropped. Cancelo obviously has a problem with him.

What apology! Big 6 clubs don't get apologies they get fined for asking for one

We will win something big this season I’ve no doubt.

If it’s not the league it will be old big ears.

The problem with this is that PGMOL confirmed it was a correct decision. So what stops more teams from doing this? Brighton vs Liverpool had the same scenarios but they were deemed as offside

Haaland is looking like Pep didn't want him and he's been forced on to him. We don't play to his strengths. Pace and height, yet we fook about with the ball, never release it early or send a high cross in. For some of the world's best players to not know this is crazy Haaland must wish he'd chose klopp, he'd be 30 goals up so far, had he been Nunez.

We have a huge schedule and are way off, so many players under performing, this is a little deeper for me than a bad run of form.

Whatever the reason, the next 3 months will see just how good Pep is, this is going to need the work of a genius to turn around, in his time with us I have never seen so many players look so out of form and unmotivated.
Yep, we'll see if Pep and the players still have the stomach for a fight.
