United (A) | Post Match Thread

That’s bizarre
Like I said earlier I won’t use it as an excuse for the result but if that’s the genuine rule it’s completely fucked up
I agree it should be offside but they were basically saying it doesn’t effect a defender getting the ball. Their stride patterns didn’t change etc

I don't think he does, but that's what VAR should be for. The bigger question is why they didn't even look at it. They usually spend minutes trying to find a reason to rule a goal out
Apparently Oliver looked at everything super quick...when it was against United, and didn't look at all when it was for United. Seems legit

What the fuck has happened to our team? Totally dysfunctional in generating chances. Giving the ball away to often. And Kevin has totally lost it.
Agreed ....we are just not creating anything...KDB is a huge issue and should be dropped

Right call by the letter but should not be so black and white. Rules clearly being made and analyzed by people who don't clearly understand them from an in game live ball perspective. Rashford clearly had possession and interfered with the play whilst offsides regardless of not touching the ball.

That said our players have to respond not wilt and give up and cry they were robbed.

it's given offside in any other game than today ? Rashford runs towards the ball and dancing his feel around it defending it to shoot only for somebody else to shoot ? Rashford even shoots the air so what more can I say that it's offside

Ederson comes out and clears if rashford isnt shielding it

I don't but I did think he made a little movement that you may be referring to that should in of itself been enough to be classed as interfering with play.

yep

the run alone towards the ball is interfering
