I'm fairly certain that's been covered once or twice in the last 500 odd pages bud :)What seems to be ignored in all of the Bellingham talk us that as midfielder do you want to be coached by Klopp or Pep? Every midfielder that’s gone to Liverpool since Klopp arrived has at best plateaued (Fabinho or Thiago) or struggled like Oxlade Chamberlain or Keita. Their style largely negates the midfielders creativity and focuses more on 3 workhorses.
On the other hand working with Pep as a midfielder must be a dream, KDB, Iniesta, Xavi, Bernardo, Yaya, Busquets, Rodri, Gundogan amongst many others have thrived under Pep.
Whatever about league position, champions league, money or history why does anyone think an any ambitious midfielder would want to play for Klopp over Pep is beyond me.

Baldy scouse loving **** on Anfield Agenda reckons it's a done deal to scouseville. Even more bullish than he ever was previously.
You'd have to be out of your mind!
We’ve been stung by Pearce before…Apparently (Talksport pundit Stuart Pierce) this Gibbs-White lad is totally dominating Casemiro. Is he someone we should be looking at as a cheaper alternative to Bellingham?

Are you young? I know Pearce was a bit of a bozo but there are a few others in my lifetime that I'd have ahead of him for that title. Poyser, Ball, Clark, Allison (2nd time around).I know he is like the worst ever manager City had
Difference being, with that lot the football was barely watchable. With Pearce, it was fuckin unbearable! View attachment 67090
True, but he did get us within a missed penalty of qualifying for Europe, while none of the ones I mentioned came anywhere close.Difference being, with that lot the football was barely watchable. With Pearce, it was fuckin unbearable! View attachment 67090
It was the most turgid football I've ever witnessed. IIRC, we only scored 28 goals all season & only stayed up because incredibly we conceded around the same number. No goal at home in the second half of that season.
Let that sink in. No goal at all. Law of averages say you scab a lucky one at some point.
Christ. Absolute shite!
A European campaign under Pearce would have probably led to PL relegation, no Thaksin or Sheikh Mansour...True, but he did get us within a missed penalty of qualifying for Europe, while none of the ones I mentioned came anywhere close.
ya that is exactly how our defense falls apart. I prefer to put bellingham in KDB's position as he is not defensively that good and put a different type of player in gundo's position, someone who is measured in controlling the game. bellingham is a runner so it makes sense to play him in a more attacking position. The more I see of him and the more I see of our current midfield, the more perfect I think he is for us.
He's got the lot, a proper box to box midfielder and were crying out for a young midfielder who will run past people and break the lines, especially as KDB ages.
Put him alongside Rodri and KDB and we will be frightening.
