If Arsenal lose they'll just say they're only interested in the league and whine about how much we've spent.
 
We fucked about the other season with the chavs games believing ‘when it mattered’ pep would deliver a master stroke…..we all know how that worked out !

Full strength side is the only way we should set up, players in their correct positions, no fucking about trying to be clever please pep.

I do wonder if he'll play a two up front, Alvarez and Haaland. That way it keeps arteta guessing as to what we'll do in the league.

Downside is it probably means Kev misses out, but I do feel like a few of our players need to be 'pissed off' in order to bring out that desire in them, Kev and Cancelo being two.

Tbh you deserve to be top, Arsenal have played some great football, but as you say when City are on their A game there are not many teams that can match us. However, upto now City have had too many off days and will need to improve in order to retain the PL title.
 
Like a few others, I suspect it'll be a near-full-strength outfield. Only Ortega from the backups will play.

Imagine being the number 1 keeper yet you only get to play in 2 of the 4 comps we play. That obviously doesn't happen with the outfield players. Saying that some of our number 2 keepers have won us trophies in penalty shoot out's down the years.

I get your point but I remember being gutted at him playing big Willy in the league cup final against the mickeys and he was our motm.
