I've searched mate it isn't on Youtube, never heard of this happening, I would suggest that your mates are at best being economical with the truth, seem to remember them being on a in the 70s could have been Stoke.

I remember a time when we played Newcastle( imre varadi was playing for them) we got beat & we decided to wait with a few angry Blues for Newcastle fans to be let out .
if i remember right it was near an end terrace house , entrance to the kippax carpark ?
Well they came out & charged at us ,fuckin shit myself & was set for a good hiding with a few other blues .
But all of a sudden a resident in the houses on the street came out charging with a cricket bat swinging it in all directions at Newc fans , they sh1t themselves & legged it .
The crazy fooker saved our bacon ,he was tough has nuts ha!ha! !

Those were indeed the good old days. I've seen a lot of ups and downs following City then, but I have never enjoyed watching football as much as that period.
With the odd exception, today's matches are bland in comparison, and the players and fans don't have anywhere near the same passion.
