PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The fans need to take this anger etc into the stadium and use it to suppotgr team and manager....fuck everyone else. Circle the wagons and fight to the end. This is the spark the fans need. Aim it at the press box, the opposing fans and teams. Use it to be the 12th man...home and away
We will. Agreed.

Funny that FSG have announced they are no longer interested in selling the whole club just a day before this announcement. Also, can see Glazers say bids weren't high enough, so keeping control of the club. Almost like they had a heads up from PL that we won't be a problem soon.

A paid up Arsenal supporter is apparently going to be the judge and jury in City's case. Talk about own goals , surely the PL should have thought this through a bit more.

Any decision he makes will be at best considered biased. Its impossible to be independent when you have an allegiance to a rival. That's surely one of the fundamentals in any fair adjudication. And will only increase the chance of further legal action and appeal by City pending any guilty findings whatsoever.

Sat with my lad, having Chinese at lunchtime. His words, 'I don't give a fuck. They have been after us for years and they haven't succeeded. If we end up in the fourth division, everyone who's a proper City fan will love it anyway.'

Of course, we spoke some more and both of us feel the same: stand your bloody corner and fight back.

Just seen that. Why would any organisation go to war with one of its members? Why would it want to besmirch a team and club that has given them some of the best moments in the last ten years? Why would an organisation be so inept that we have apparently got away with all these breaches right under their noses for years? Why are we being charged with offences a sporting court cleared us of? These are the questions these wankers should be asking. We of course know the answers.
Probably because (in their eyes) we are yesterdays chip paper, old news, they’re bored of us winning, it isn’t good for their ‘product’ or their billions of red shirt followers, so they are in essence trying to eliminate us from competing. They thought 93.20 was a flash in the pan, that we could only attract mercenaries, and the likes of David Sergio & Vinnie would leave for Spain. Now we have one of the best sporting projects in the world, and show no signs of returning to mediocrity, football is cyclical but our cycles tend to be dropping from 1st to a champions league spot. With us out of the way it opens the door to another story, the emergence of Newcastle, and the return of the rags

After today the press box is fair game imo

The club put a stake in the sand in 2014 saying that they would take a pinch but no more

They have backed this up in 2019 with the UEFA case and are doing again now with PL version

They must be very confident as the club , the boards and UAE’s reputation hangs on this

That was uefa this is the premier with different rules\laws

I can’t believe the club would be so stupid to do this.

It’s been rumoured for ages that this is what happened with Mancini but if so, why wouldn’t Mancini use it as leverage when he was sacked?
Mancini has nothing to hide. If he has showed his transactions throughout that period to the investigation, and there are 2 different payments. One off the books and one on, then it's an open and shut case.

But what if they then became consumed with interest in the activities of this third party, and then started following this up with former players etc..

You can start to see how something like this unravels.

And talking about stupidity, it was only this summer that the club announced a new betting sponsor in Asia, and when people tried to locate this company, it didn't exist. There was no website, the CEO was a stock photo from a sex site. None of the 23 staff on Linkedin were actual employees of this company. Nobody could locate a business address for them. This occurred during a financial irregularities investigation that the club was fully aware of!
