Like that bellend would know! Can't bear to listen to any sports media right now. Just curious, does Simon Jordan think we are likely to get expelled or something to that effect?

Alleged payments to Seluk are responsible for about a third of the charges so to be honest he's the perfect person to speak to and about as relevant as it gets.
And the extensive urban redevelopment in East Manchester on the back of the Abu Dhabi/City? Is Winter suggesting that PL send in the bulldozers to flatten the hundreds of houses, sports facilities and community centres that have been built as a direct result of the Abu Dhabi funds. In addition thousands of Mancunians have had their lives uplifted, whether City fans or inhabitants of East Manchester.
Winter's abysmal standard of journalism belongs in Putin's Moscow.
Let's hope City's listening to Jordan, closely !
Naah. If the "true and fair" charge relates to the annual accounts (which I doubt) they would have to show just that, that the annual accounts don't show a true and fair view. That isn't the same as "not what we said they were" or mis-stating someone's salary. There is a materiality concept involved with true and fair. I doubt that they will be going down that route. No, it doesn't. All the PL have to show is that our accounts weren't what we said they were (still a high burden) but the rest of the stuff - motive, mens rea, etc - isn't relevant (for them). It may be relevant in other proceedings
No!……I’d be asking for a suitcase full of £50 notesIf your Jude with no prior affiliation to city , wouldn’t you think twice before making move due to this false narrative and noise everywhere ?
I thought they suspected that information provided to UEFA was being leaked to certain media outlets around that time and they were a bit miffed about it, or am I remembering that bit wrong? The club not cooperating with investigation into the past 5 seasons is a bit concerning to be honest.
The only logical reason to cooperate with investigations into 2008-2017 (the period covered by the hack) and not cooperate over 2018-2023 is that the punishment and reputational damage for obstructing the investigation is better than what would be revealed if you did fully cooperate.
He's a mobile phone salesman - and like all salesmen he's fluent in bullshit! No idea why anyone listens to that ****. This is a guy who had it all and spunked it away so hard, he is now reduced to being on Talksport with the rest of the down n outs, throwing out insults and outlandish claims to generate callers/revenue. His opinions mean as much to me as next doors cat.
the point seemed to be that FFP is fundamentally illegitimate and therefore effectively that there's nothing wrong with being accused of breaching it - which makes the reference to a hypothetical allegation of paedophilia extremely bizarre, like I said. And the actual point that was made?
I don’t mind Jordan until he speaks about city. He clearly doesn’t like us or our owners. Referred to us as a grotty mob when trying to buy Kane, that isn’t somebody who can talk impartially and balanced about us when he clearly lets person issues take over. As he speaks well the turds who listen to that station hang on his every word. Regardless of the truthThat kunt been saying ever since cas! “Oh it was timed barred” meaning if it wasn’t we would be done for it! Thing is City wanted to go further to prove it was untrue but the it got thrown out so early because of it being timed barred! Jordan hangs around with people who only wha to hurt our club of course he is going to have bias view he is a sheep like the rest!
So, does this mean a third of the allegations are now affectively bull and void. *IF* Seluk maintains this stance?
I think there is truth in this. It is also the case that three of our Directors, including Khaldoon, were also involved in the £10bn external investment deal recently agreed between the UAE leadership and the UK government. It is not in the interests of the Government to put this relationship at risk.I was thinking about the political angle this morning. Not only are City the only top six club that supports the introduction of an independent regulator but the model of ownership we have is a perfect blueprint, in terms of community investment and sound financial support, to use as a yardstick to measure up any future potential owners and their plans.
There is no way a truly independent regulator could look at the Glazer/US approach and conclude it is better for the club and/or football in general than ours. I think that is the battleground here and explains the apparent haste in yesterdays announcement.
there must be a song hereSo just the gras cutting allegation will stick then, won't stop the media. "Liverpool would have won the league if City's grass was cut 3mm shorter like everyone else".
Agreed.I am not saying the statement itself would affect the outcome but the overall tone we set through the case is very important. We need to keep well away from all the personal bitterness which fuelled the UEFA case.
I find the whole not cooperating with the last 5 seasons odd. If for no other reason than we’ve had this cloud over us for much of that time, and if anything you would think our latest (last few seasons) accounts would be absolutely rock-solid?The club not cooperating with investigation into the past 5 seasons is a bit concerning to be honest.

Not necessarily. You co-operate over retrospective matters, you don't give the PL access to your ongoing business affairs. The charges relate to 2018 and before, not continuous and unprecedented oversight from that point onwards. The club not cooperating with investigation into the past 5 seasons is a bit concerning to be honest.
