When Walker plays in a traditional fullback position instead of a side center back he offers good offensive contribution with his pace and overlapping - maybe not as good as Cancelo but still well enough. We can see it from Jack's derby goal.

Ake and Walker are put regularly in the center back position right now and you cannot ask too much from there.

Pep's new 3-4-2-1 system put one extra man in the midfield to make up the lacking from Halaand pressing comparing to false 9. Thus our wing play suffers. The real problem is that the striker must deliver enough output to justify the sacrifice the team makes for him.

Sorry but disagree about walker being good attacking, I think he's abysmal

Let me inject some optimism. We are doing okay after that match. We lost to Spurs at their ground 1-0. Same as last year. We actually got 3 points over two legs vs Spurs. Much improved compared to last year 0 points...
