And why are De Gea or Ramsdale the only options? Why not Curtouis, Neuer, Ter Stegen?For the supporters who don't rate Ederson would you swap him for either De Gea or Ramsdale?
Of all the elite GK, Ederson is by far the worst shotstopper (unless you count Lloris as elite, in that case they are both the worst). You go to any GK highlights, and Ederson barely has any incredible saves. He is slow and very heavy for an elite GK.
I still like him because he very rarely makes mistakes, but this season that is not the case. So right now, we have a very average GK at shot-stopping, and a GK that makes rash decisions and mistakes.

One, it's not our decision. That's why Pep gets paid a million a month for.
Two, we've got Ortega. He's better than most current PL keepers from what I've seen of him.
Three, offer Pope in exchange and I'd take your hand off personally.

In a dominant side he is perfect and a huge part of the dominance we have and create. You just have to accept though that it's pretty much one shot one goal with him.
If Pep was to leave at the end of this season a GK would be first on my list but luckily that issue won't happen for at least 3 years so long live Eddie the mad bastard.

All of them are playing for our rivals and unattainable at the minute. Courtois isn't a shit keeper but he isn't much better than Ederson (current form aside). Trautmann, Corrigan, James, Hart, Coton, Schmeichel (P), Williams, Mulhearn, Dowd, Weaver, Caballero, Nixon, Ortega.In my best Nick Knowles voice, Name them.
Obviously, not all of these would suit our current style of play, but all were/are better goalkeepers than Ederson imo.
You probably won't agree, but as I say... it's all about opinions.

I don't think it works like that Ray.
Personally, I'd rate Ben Foster as being a better keeper than both De Gea and Ramsdale.
League position of a club doesn't necessarily make a goalkeeper better than another. There's likely to be at least one keeper in Division 2 who's as good as most in the PL, but simply hasn't been picked up.

It was a clumsy, naive attempt to stop the player rather than the ball. A definite foul.
I suspect that the ref considered the second yellow but decided it was just clumsy rather than intentional.
I'm guessing that your last sentence is a hint towards some sort of 'refereree agenda' against City. If so, that's nonsense. The ref had a very good game tonight imo.

I think Jack Grealish was booked for excessive complaining or something he said. It certainly looked like more than simply 'appealing'
The ref was fine tonight. Even VAR got it right!
Those keepers do get signed if they have a good spell in Division 2 but do eventually get found out due to the sheer amount of pressure. Foster didn't last long at Utd although he had a decent career in the Premier League,I don't think it works like that Ray.

No keeper makes more mistakes than Allison, do you reckon the Liverpool fanbase want him out?Allison's shot stopping isn't much better to be honest either and he has a had a few howlers when playing the loveable red men.
Actually, thinking on that he probably gets death threats from them, maybe a poor example? Haha
