PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Or the PL likely had no more evidence than what was already known ?

I know that may be more prudent, but I hope we don’t ‘take a pinch’ with non compliance if that’s the case, if they had no further evidence it really would seem like they tried to go on a fishing expedition, threw as much shit at us as possible in hope, as others have said, that’s caused enough damage and will likely be used by the usual suspects as us ‘getting away with it again’ ?

I am not so sure and would think everything that could be said by media already has been.

I don't expect to hear much until the case is heard now and assume city legal team are just preparing their case against the allegations and PL likewise.

You don’t announce major infrastructure plans and building work on the North stand if your business is about to take a massive hit from these Premier League sanctions. Think that demonstrates that the club believes it will be successful in the outcome with the mood music from their lawyers.
 
It will never ever happen because even though we have Yank money involved, we don't have the sway the other American owners do, but I just wish somehow we could force the PL to investigate everyone else's historic accounts and business plans the way ours have. I completely understand why the Club would be 'non-compliant' when we were literally having to handover details on how we (CFG) planned to dominate Football, to people that had no rights to see such detail, especially when they were working multiple roles on boards of some of the Clubs who wanted us dead and buried, Uefa, The PL etc, the whole thing has been a stitch up from day one and I for one would be proud as hell if we just blow the whole system, anything we may have done will have been done by others, 100%.

It's water under the bridge now as the situation was clear during the CAs hearing that 'HH' wasn't Sheikh Mansour, but the Powerpoint presentation commissioned by MBZ and prepared by Booz Allen regarding the funding of Etihad, explicitly stated that the City sponsorship was funded by the Executive Council, which he chairs.

So you're right that there's no direct link to MBZ, but he couldn't have been unaware of the situation and quite probably expressly approved it. However I accept he probably didn't sign the cheques.

Yeah quite possibly, just hope its as TH said and doesn't drag on for years with it over our heads.

Respectfully, I'd say ready to go means we're ready to fight our corner and provide some suitable answers to the allegations made by PL
 
To a large part the damage ( reputation) has been done and the red axis supported by their media clickbait fan boys have established the notion that everything was done by cheating. Global fanbases are to the large part tribal and thick and hear what they want to hear and then rinse and repeat. This is the tone of most replies on news feeds etc. Blind to the fact that these are kangaroo rules designed by a red axis kangaroo group.

They’ll be happy if they’ve put the brakes on and future fans opt for holier than thou post late 50’s ‘istry clubs’ rather than the evil empire.

Pep’s achievements expected, boring and bought they said whereas Tent Peg over the road is working miracles on his shoe string budget.

It’s why someone in my opinion payed that hack to look into out emails! Get a few dodgy ones in there eyes out there then it’s the red shirts get onto there mates in the media to continually spout this then to pressure uefa then now the premier to have a deep dive into our accounts!

It would have an impact on every league PGMOL officiate but if this video is fact and not fiction I am sure the leagues would distance themselves and come out with suitable statements saying they are appalled etc.

With regard to the city V PL case though they would not care and I don't personally believe it would have any impact as PGMOL are a separate organisation even if the leagues pay them. The two are separate imo and would not impact on each other and any allegations from the video would be city v PGMOL (unless it is proven there is PL interference in the decision the video relates too)

I am assuming all parties would want to get it completed asap but assume there will need to be certain time for preparation and then both parties can appeal the outcome whatever that may be.

I am unsure what avenues are available after appeal but assume there may be further legal mechanisms.

So basically who knows how long this could drag on.
