Just watching the Arsenal game on MOTD, and I do wonder whether they thought they'd won the league today

The race hasn't even got going yet, and the amount of emotion they're going through in winning games lately, could get a bit much for them in the next few weeks

I'm a lot more confident we will win the league than I was a few weeks ago

Thought exactly the same.

We are not the sane team anymore mate as if we were this title race would be virtually ours already . Arsenal might get beat a couple of times but so could we. Hopefully I’m wrong and we close the season out with win after win but I’m not so sure and next Saturday at palace will show what we are made off .
Keep Foden, Haaland, and Grealish starting together and I'm not a bit worried. I have much more faith in us running the table then I do the Arse. They won't win at Anfield. They won't win here. They'll have their hands full at St. James Park. We have a virtually insurmountable lead in goal difference which is worth a point in itself. Pocket our home game and we're talking about making up 2 points in 11 other games. Long, long way to go...just sayin'.

Good post mate..
I feel better now.

Tbh we're a young team and went from 2 seasons at 8th and one at 5th to being in a title race. We're also not Liverpool/UTD where the media is trying to convince everyone we're the best team in the world.

Our players/team are celebrating so hard cause they dont think winning the league/being the best team is their god given right like the rag cunts/Liverpool lot think.

I'm seeing a fair bit of ...anger? which is sad cause we've been civil up til now. If we win the league, we do. If we dont then we dont and congratulations on 3 in a row.

Watching the game, Bournemouth were time wasting since they went up. It was the reason we got 6 mins. At the start of the 6 mins the keeper and other players were feigning injuries so the ref added that time on to the extra. We were fortunate that the ref actually decided to give the right amount of time.

The bigger issue is refs not punishing time wasting properly in other games by adding on the right amount of time (Like in the WC).

Just think of this… only four English clubs have won the league title three seasons in a row in 136 years of league history: Huddersfield, Arsenal, Liverpool and United(x2).

That’s a smaller group of clubs (four) and a smaller number of occasions (five) than the amount of English clubs who have won the European Cup/Champions League (five clubs and fourteen occasions).

A League title win this season won’t just be another league title win, it will be a historic league title win.
If you win, I understand and congrats you were the better team and you made it to 3 in a row.

However, I would like to say as an Arsenal fan that we will probably never win the league again if we dont this year but you lot will probably have another chance at 3 in a row. So can we win it this year please? Lol

No!

Try winning a league when the league is out to stop you. Until then fuck off.

Arteta is doing well to mimic the great man. We have obviously helped you on this path. We also financed your new stadium with the early purchases.

From the outside and trying to stay objective…truth is you got city at a good moment. 3 in a row is very hard to achieve. The first team is changing style and we are unfortunately seeing the end game for some of our best players over the recent years.

Shame but time waits for none. Still can’t stand your club, bunch of moaning letter writing twats. As for the season, it can go either way, you have responded well albeit a tad fortuitously. Can you hang on? And can city maintain form now until a the end?

At this moment in time, advantage Arsenal. If we do maintain this run you won’t be able to match it. City have got through the hardest part of the season while not playing particularly well, yet still within touching distance.

Oh, did I say I can’t stand you bunch of wankers? Not quite the level of the dips or the rags but still…

Hey, I didnt write the letter.

My fellow Arsenal fans cant understand when I say this but I am always thankful for City and to an extent Chelsea. The reasons being, if it werent for you lot, Utd would have had a free run to 99% of league titles in our shit period.

Those cunts winning that many would be unbearable. A title win for us this season and Europa win, whilst Utd get the league cup and fall apart next season would be a wet dream.

Fair enough re the letter. Low behaviour from a historically big club. Let yourselves down because city usurped your champions league place but don’t feel bad, spurs went before yourselves. Also Wenger did start the financial doping shit. He knew the writing was on the wall.

You can have the europa but the league is still very much in play. It can change very quickly with 1 defeat. I do agree with your point on city and Chelsea. It’s was getting tedious watching the rags win the league. New money flowing in allowed the league to be more competitive but hey who wants competition really? Hence FFP.

Hope you get beat in your next game -:)

I thought that today, hopefully like the premature Neil Kinnock celebrations! Although on that occasion I’d have him win it and we’d never had to endure Tony Blair.

Chelsea then City coming in has made the Premiere League with competition attract huge tv rights and the envy of the rest of Europe. The Premiere League stance is therefore bizzare as well as the hateful clubs because but for the Aguerro moment they would not be the recipients of the riches they enjoy.

I didn't watch arsenal today, I only watch City games. After seeing us today, I'm more confident than I have been since the world cup that we will catch them.
Honestly, watching us have our best ever season and only being 5 points ahead of you with still needing to play you lot is infuriating.

Like this has been your so called "shit period" and you're only 5 godamn points behind us. You're looking in form now with Foden etc coming in. I dont think Im ready for 100 points form City lol.

Just watched the Goons celebrating , is there an open top bus parade tomorrow ?
I get where you're coming from but we'd have been the same in their position. The scenes after our Fulham win were similar.

It's recognition from Arsenal that they might have to win every single game to finish above City. And that ain't happening if they have to rely on injury time winners.

As gutting as the 97th minute was, I'm seeing the positives that Arsenal are vulnerable enough to nearly drop points at home to Bournemouth of all teams. Also that Arsenal winning might be a setback for us but it's a bigger disaster for the rags. Might even stop the media quadruple talk if they don't win tomorrow.

Your biggest advantage is not playing in the CL and getting dumped out of both domestic cups early. Still might not be enough tho. We will see...
