Walker shouldn’t have done it and should learn from this but it’s not that bad.

Yeah, that's pretty much my mindset on it too. I played amateur Rugby League for a lot of years and pranks like that were pretty commonplace (and often worse) and men, women, old and young in the clubhouse would be in hysterics at it...I never saw anyone not down their pint afterwards either.

I think there are still some things in life worth getting wound up about, but this kind of thing just isn't one of them, though I appreciate it's easier for me to say that as he doesn't play for my club nor do I have to worry about it affecting our fortunes. On the contrary, I'd be a happier man if some of ours would actually show some fucking bollocks every now and then.

Is Kyle Walker a bit of an idiot? Most definitely. Is Kyle Walker some irrepressible sex case and a danger to women everywhere? Not even close. I think it's being blown massively out of proportion. No pun intended...honest:D
 
Did that Castleford rugby league player (Joe Westerman) get in trouble with the law the other week? If not, I'm not sure why Walker should. He's clearly been a dickhead but don't think it warrants anything more than what he's already going through as a result

Same here! On my old uni rugby league team, on the piss up afterwards, whoever was the worst player of the match had to drink a pint called ‘around the world’ where everyone would pour a bit of their drink into the pint pot and the captain would dunk his cock and balls into it and the worst player of the day had to down the drink. Lads and girls alike would all be watching on and singing Daft Punk ‘Around The World’ while everyone poured their drinks in and the dick and bollocks got dunked and the lad downed it.

Then they had to do a naked run around campus.

No, in a tough position whereby he has to punish this but we also have to win games and against pace and in the big games it's whether Pep is willing to "risk" Lewis. Considering this incident is an example of immaturity and a lack of character it suggests Kyle isn't fully committed. You've got a couple of days off because of an intense schedule with a key week in our season coming up before the International break. Win all three and we're in an excellent position with 11 league games left, a cup semi and the CL quarters to come. Lose any of them and the season starts to slip away.

Pep's going to be torn between a pragmatic need to have Walker in the team and dismay at the guy's latest act of stupidity. The latter view is more likely to prevail at least for Saturday. Beyond that he'll have to endure taunts from the crowd at every away ground he goes to.
He will be moved on In the summer, which was always a possibility anyway given he's not been on his best form this season. Everton next year? Maybe Burnley? Kompany knows him, so would he be more likely to want Walker as a footballer or be put off by his antics?
Home town Sheffield Utd looks the best bet.

Why wouldn’t Walker be in the team? He’s just coming into some form for the first time this season.

Anthony Gordon is in the Newcastle team despite being possibly sent down soon.
 
Can't believe this is still something. The police will give him a warning for future conduct. The club have said it's a private matter but they will give him a rollocking and, if they have any sense, help him with what is clearly a drink problem. Guardiola may or may not play him in the weekend. My guess is that he will unless his head (the one on his shoulders) isn't right. Life goes on. We all have more important to things to worry about.

Not “blaming” his wife at all.

What I am saying is that to a dullard childmind, having got away with boorish and outright callous behavior in the past, without the repercussions one might expect, maybe his childmind thinks he can BUY his way out of everything with her.

He clearly lives under the delusion of “ask forgiveness, not permission,” knowing he could never get the latter, but a few quid has been successful in receiving the former.

Maybe it’s me, but after almost 37 years of marriage (longer than he’s been on this earth, so he could be my kid!), he sounds like the kind of **** I’d want my daughter to swerve hard to avoid!

As the saying goes, we know what you are, now we are just haggling over the price!

That’s not “blame,” it’s self-worth and personal dignity…not to mention the kids!

Call me old fashioned, but you can’t throw money at the real things in a relationship, because they don’t have a price tag.

But, I don’t want to come off as the Morality Police, either. They have their own relationship, and it’s their business to sort out. But, on the interwebs, we get to discuss our feelings on that matter, right?
