I’m hoping one of Labour’s flagship manifesto promises is on pollution, and that they deliver it. Surely that’s a vote winner.

It’s OK, some will buy it and some will attack it. However, some will accept it because it makes them feel good.
 
Have I heard the news right? They're going to strip search eight-year-olds looking for Nox canisters then make them brush up canisters while wearing pink jumpsuits?
 
What we need to remember about Sunak is that he cheered on and applauded on a daily bases the car crash of a PM that was Bozo Johnson. He stood there and backed a disgrace of a human being that lied and lied and lied. He stood there and like Johnson saw Covid as an “opportunity” for them and their wealthy cronies. He has blood on his hands but he has no sense of responsibility and just to top it off he appointed Braverman. He is no PM he is another right wing, smug, lying, cruel, shameless, entitled, self interested Tory. Imposter and charlatan in my book.

Never underestimate these tory bastards.

They've openly declared a culture war. Migrants, Transgender rights are the opening salvos, and with the help of client journalists the unthinking masses will lap it up. Hung Parliament or small majority could still happen.

You’d certainly think so, and if no one has watched the documentary on iplayer regarding water companies and their polluting of our rivers I highly recommend it. Utterly shameful what we’re allowing to happen.

I’m off to Paris on Friday, I’ll get some tips on proper protesting procedures.
 
Here's what can happen with Brexit freedoms, scrapping law based on EU directives .... now it may be that replacing regulations that two parliaments have approved with regs that ministers can change will result in better regs, but (a) the effort of changing is time consuming and expensive and (b) established case law interpreting the regs will have to start again with new regs, so more work for lawyers.

For the current government to be returned even with a small majority would say something so profoundly depressing about this country's trajectory that I very much doubt you would be the only one hopping it.
