Probably means the qatari bidders have lost interest in the rags and the glazers don't want them buying another PL club.![]()
Premier League tightens ownership rules to stop human rights abusers running a club
The Premier League tightens its ownership rules to ensure anyone found to have committed human rights abuses cannot run a club.www.bbc.co.uk
I wonder what this means for the future of football.
And are the shareholders (Who unanimously voted for it) the PL the clubs?
They dont mention City btw. v strange

Clear & obvious again.
United's going down.United 1 billion in debt, Chelsea's owner owning a second club. The hateful 8 should get their own houses in order before they come after us. I'm sure the Premier League and UEFA will investigate them as fully as they have city (sarc).
What do we think the rags "one off sponsorship credit, that they have chosen not to detail" is and for how much?

Saw this which I thought was interesting, because looking at the dates doesn't it relate to a previous year?

Which would make this at least the second time they've had a "one-off sponsorship credit"... Not sure if it's any big deal, but seems odd.
Team Viewer reimbursement. Think they got an advance and now they are exiting as shirt sponsors.
Wages will also be down with Ronaldo leaving.
cynical but probably very trueProbably means the qatari bidders have lost interest in the rags and the glazers don't want them buying another PL club.
Or the Glazers really don't want to sell their cash cow?Probably means the qatari bidders have lost interest in the rags and the glazers don't want them buying another PL club.

Take your pick, but it would be a large one.Won’t be TeamViewer as it’s only up to 31st December - another sponsor has evidently paid up to leave their deal early.
For the ‘one off credit’ to be material enough to mention it must’ve been a decently large sponsor, so not surprising they don’t want to expand on it….

His verbal gymnastics are something else. He needs to look up the definition of ‘remains’. The debt doesn’t remain at nearly £1bn, it’s increased almost £500m, to nearly £1bn.Wages were down £20.4m to £77.3m, a decrease of 20.9% as Erik ten Hag's team are not in this season's Champions League.
No CL means 20% less wages? Sounds fishy when they had the Thursday night kickabout instead. And of course only Simon Stone could turn lack of CL income into a positive spin.
