North Stand Construction Discussion

That’s not surprising. Doesn’t take much.

Funny how other posters know what I’m on about apart from you.
Ffs there are clued up ITK people on this that have seen the plans that are telling us what to expect.

Yet you still post pics of Premier Inns.

The penny will drop with you one day I’m sure

For all those complaining about there being a hotel included...how many of you would like the north stand to stay as it is? Or better still...how about you stump up the £300 million and build something better. I'm sure it will be a world class facility.

Intresting what the other building are on the old casino site are ,maybe they are the hotel ? By the looks of these pictures the new North Stand has a sky bar that looks out onto the top of the North Stand.

The covered area is the new City Square , where is the new club shop ?

The club shop, offices and museum are in the wing to the right. Nothing is going on the collar site as part of this redevelopment. I've said previously there is a sky bar with seating at the top of the north stand.

So what goes in on the left wing of the building and what are all the black buildings in the picture behind the left wing

Yeah, I was perhaps being a bit harsh but worth waiting for more detailed plans.

£300 million isn't to be sniffed at.

For the love of God, I did say that in the post. I give up!

Do you actually read anything I post or do you just dive in constantly fishing for a row?

‘Regardless of the building and where it is, I absolutely hate plain boxed shaped buildings’.

One quick example I could find. I’m not saying the exterior of the City hotel will resemble this hotel.

Repeat. I don’t like boxed shaped buildings.(similar to the ground level section of the hotel). And I’m not saying the hotel exterior in the picture is anything like the proposed ground level City hotel exterior.

Maybe I should just wait until the planning application is submitted becore making any further comments?
Fucking hell you need to chill, it's not like they are building it at the bottom of your garden ??? Jeez...

Not satisfied with considering themselves world leading virologists, military strategists and architects, the Bluemoon faithful could appear on Mastermind with the specialist subject of, “How to run a hotel.”
Basil Faulty likes this.

Btw....BM is the font of all knowledge ( except for those who know fuck all )

Hahaha. Well observed. It’s the human condition I suppose - when I think of some the pub conversations I’ve seen ranging from quantum physics to Space Station docking procedures. It’s both funny and endearing. It’s a signal not to take ourselves too seriously !

Hi Everyone.

1894 are surveying fans about the North Stand extension.

City contacted us and told us they want the extended North Stand to be an atmospheric 'end' where our singers can congregate. We will most likely work with City (and other fan groups) to try and make this a success.

The survey should take less than 5 minutes to complete.

It's specifically about singing/atmosphere. If you're not too interested in that, please ignore it.

We are using the feedback to help us formulate an official response to City with our suggestions.

Please click here to complete the survey.

Thanks!
