I don't mind him showing his colours (so to speak) at all, why would you want a total lack of passion from every pundit? Are we not passionate about City?

Cutting out the 'We/Us/Our' bits wouldn't stop him being an Arsenal fan and it's not like it's unknown. Seems such a minor thing to get bent out of shape on.
I like it when pundits show their true colours. Hiding who they support is dishonest. I just wish they could be truly neutral when their team isn't playing. Or in the case of BT be on the side of the all the British clubs in Europe

And just to add fuel to the fire he reference’s baconface and the treble hahahahaha, these articles are done in the hope or should that be desperation that we actually fail, what other reason bar appeasing the mass ranks of fans of the 2 red shite’s..
We're still in those 3 competitions, make what you will of that!

No it’s not. It is the basis of ffp and what goes into our accounts. But it doesn’t measure the gross amount spent on transfers, so you could argue gross spend is a better guide to actual transfer activity.
You are incorrect. Net spend does not in any way reflect the true cost of buying or owning a player: For one thing, clubs accounts show amortisation of player transfer fee, which is not sufficiently reflected in a simple net spend metric; For another, the fees quoted on transfermarkt are simply the average figures published across various media sources, and can be wildly inaccurate; and finally, the transfer fee is only a portion of the cost of owning a player - wages can be 40-60% of that cost.

Using net spend is a bit like monitoring how much everyone had for breakfast by counting how many eggs they had!

I never listen to the Sky pundits but made a special exception yesterday. I wanted to hear what they had to say about how quiet the Anfield crowd was for the first 30 minutes, whilst Arsenal waltzed through their defence at will. I know we would be hammered if we didn't support our team when they need it most. Instead I had to listen to them, including Micah, stating how brilliant the dippers' fans were for waking up when there was some minor handbags late in the first half. They also banged on about how "mad things" happen in that shithole....but that happens everywhere. The Aguero moment, the Bayern 3-2 late turnaround, the Sunderland 3-3 etc etc at the Etihad. All clubs have special days at their stadiums. It's years (literally) since I listened to the Sly pundits and I won't be doing it again.
Yeah, I thought their crowd was really quiet even at 2-1. Not the lion's den the pundits made it out to be. At 2-2 it clearly was very noisy, but that was only the last 10 minutes.

"Sluggish Diaz" to quote Mr Paradise. Just writing click bait shite. Some excellent writers at guardian, marina Hyde, John crace. This bloke couldn't write a shopping list
Fuck Marina Hyde, she wrote a very disparaging article about us several years ago, definitely tuned in with her City hating colleagues.

It was Jamie Jackson who asked Dias those ridiculous questions.

He regularly appears on Sky with his stack of unsold books behind him

Books still haven't sold ;-)

You can smell the fear with Holts abhorrent piece. The potential City treble was mentioned on Sky after the dipper game and you could hear a pin drop. United and their media lackeys have been dining off 99 well since 99 -:)

If and I know it’s a huge ask, city somehow managed to win the treble. It would destroy the myth the legend that is the rags. The fear was etched on Neville face for all to see. But but but were erm manchester Ushited!!!!

Come on City, let’s finish that rag invested club once and for all. We take 99 from them and they will never recover.

Centurions
Formidables
3 leagues in a row?
Treble winning tbc…
Yes, but if we win the "treble", our "99" will contain the media's crushed nuts. They won't get over it in a hurry, but they'll carry on trying.

Just for the benefit of any doubt and to enjoy levels of irony and hypocrisy on different levels...

Ian Herbert, Daily Mail twit and City hater...

Wrexham fan.

Seemingly okay to outspend the rest of the league, hammer the wages, be sponsored by a company controlled by a human rights abusive government, killing Muslims in 'conditioning' camps.

Take you you've met Jamie Jackson a few times?

Is so what's he really like?

I thought Herbert is a Wrexham 'fan' in the same way that Anthony Taylor is an Altrincham 'fan'?

Not just CL. After arsenal dropping a couple of points the penny has dropped that we may soon be less than 10 games away from a cl, pl, fa cup treble. I don't think they need to worry just yet personally, but it's nice that they are.
It would be nice if we could do that particular treble before it's bouncy castle/ jelly and ice cream time.
16 games to win it all, a big ask but it’s doable.
