Sudan, Isreal/Palestine… the list goes on and on.

We’re not the only ones, of course. My Spanish side has quite a lot to atone for, as well.

But it is our history, so we need to confront it and try to make right what we can.

Sudan, Israel / Palestine were part of the Ottoman Empire……….Empire you say? Yes, everyone was at it. I think that’s why we learn from history, it’s not easy to make amends.

Spain plundered the resources of South America leaving the continent destitute, still.
