I just hope Pep doesn't rotate too much. We can always accommodate a few changes but as we have seen e.g. in the 2nd half against Leicester, with too many changes we can get very ordinary, very quickly. We made 5 substitutions including Gomez, Palmer, and Phillips and in doing so, we lost the plot completely.
There is ZERO ROTATION from here.

Sports science might “require” rest for one or two as we go, but no-one gets relief. There is no serious “training” at this point of the season. There is rest, recovery and recuperation, followed by a day of football and tactics for the next opponent. The players all already know the way the team plays and Pep merely talks them through the tweaks for the game ahead.

For example, this week it was game on Weds night, warm down & recovery on Thursday, day off on Friday, light workout & tactics on Saturday morning and afternoon travel, game on Sunday.

Only CHANCE of rest for the top players is the Leeds game IF we win the next two games and Arsenal lose!

Madrid AWAY is now the biggest game of the season to date and it being a Tuesday AWAY is ridiculous, but them’s the breaks!

COME ON CITY!! Let’s make certain you warm those hamstrings properly and don’t have to over exert yourselves beyond 60 minutes.

Speaking of 60 minutes, it is going to be a crucial time in each of the next 3 games.if we can gain a 2 goal advantage by that time, it will allow tactical substitutions. A 3 goal margin allows all 5 subs getting at least 20 minutes…and the players know it!

From here, we are trying to make every game a 60 minute competition and a 30+ minute run out for the top 5 reserves to get some game time!

Walker can get mins againts West Ham and Leeds, I was surprised how well he did againts Arsenal, Martinelli checked out after 10 mins, he looks ready. I dont think we can rest Akanji with Ake out.
Our 2 fullbacks against Arsenal were superb. However, they owed Bernie and Jack for that. They doubled up every time there was a treat.

The Viking's hair, which is lovely, is the focal point of the talks. City are still two points back, so I would guess Guardiola would rotate little. Hopefully, the trophy would be won soon enough, and the requisite amount of coldness and unease could be felt all around.

Rapunzel, let down your golden hair,
(but don't trip over it!)

And that's as it should be. Love Rico, but he's still very much a junior player. This kind of run-in is the place for the seniors, if they've still got the legs.
Rico's got plenty of time to fully cement his place.
That’s right. Rico has made a great contribution earlier on - remember the second half at Stamford Bridge?
But now is the time to be hard nosed and ruthless

Rico has clearly impressed Pep and has years ahead of him at City ad Kyle’s eventual replacement. When we buy our next left back that is where I think we need to try and replace Kyle’s recovery pace, easier said than done of course

His future at City is unlikely to be as a traditional full back a role for which he lacks the necessary physical attributes. He will slot in as a midfielder or auxiliary midfielder if he stays.
