Who'd have thought how important Napoli winning the league was on the BBC......oh and the rags lost.
here's another brilliant analysis from talkshite
Star sprinkled, celebrity, glitter legit dollars if you don't mind! Entirely fair to all those other teams in the Vanarama. Not buying success at all - no press cries for a "level playing field" or "earned" success there. Just Hello Magazine style, happy clappy reporting. A "Cinderella Story" we must all delight in.One news report on Wrexhams parade said they'd had an injection of "Hollywood money". The way they were talking I have to assume this is the good stuff as opposed to our state backed dirty oil money?
Is it just me who doesn’t know who these Hollywood owners are?Star sprinkled, celebrity, glitter legit dollars if you don't mind! Entirely fair to all those other teams in the Vanarama. Our double standards meedja - fckinell.
No - now if you'd said Al Jolson and Douglas Fairbanks............Is it just me who doesn’t know who these Hollywood owners are?
Imagine the headlines if the rags had finished above us for 10 years straight after we'd spent over 1bn on transfers and had more managers than hot dinners.
It'd be everywhere.
Meanwhile....
Can’t understand why the PL doesn’t just do it itself. It could stream every game easily enough and cut out the middle men. It might mean the PL effectively becoming a Sunday League, with an early and late kick off on a Saturday (reflecting the 2 teams playing the following Tuesday in the CL, when appropriate). Reasonable streaming fee for individuals and reasonable for hospitality venues for every game week and the game would grow yet again, although ticket prices would need to fall quite a bit.Sky are finished mate. More job cuts in the pipeline and their SKY Glass TV thing has lost them millions.
One day they will be outbid by a rival with far deeper pockets.
BT Sport has already gone the same way.
Think Sam is going to get a bit of shock tomorrow. Probably very short odds on him mentioning money spent in the post match presser
"Stop the supply, stop Haaland", that's a real tactical revelation from big Sam. I'm not sure why no other manager has thought of that this season.
The old dinosaur must be planning on smuggling an AK-47 past security tomorrow."Stop the supply, stop Haaland", that's a real tactical revelation from big Sam. I'm not sure why no other manager has thought of that this season.
Indeed.. it's required the return of Big Sam to enlighten all the other coaches in the league, so we'd best watch out from now on, given that we've been rumbled at last.."Stop the supply, stop Haaland", that's a real tactical revelation from big Sam. I'm not sure why no other manager has thought of that this season.
On a par with 'Run faster than Usain Bolt, win the gold medal'

Real think they’re so entitled, probably want him for less than €100m, the German’s won’t let that happen, they know his value. Reported Tchouaméni was €80m but it’s Dipper Nunez type bias, it’s over €100m with add ons. I’m guessing Bellingham is going to be around the price of that Real failure Hazard whose total price could have reached €145m.Bellingham to Real Madrid is "A good deal"
I bet they don't say the same of we hijack it...
