It’s such a shame the price is putting people off. I took a punt in booking early thank god but it would have been amazing to see see City fans taken over Istanbul . Cannot see us selling out now which is such a shame and an indicator of how hard these economic times are.
If you can manage to get there go for it , I’m sure it will be worth it. The potential for a treble maybe and lift that 1 trophy that has eluded us would be amazing .

Still probably worth using the right passport in the unlikely event they do spot checks. I’m confident that codes are transferable so there’s no reason not to.

100%.. I had a link in the app to transfer my ticket so the qualifying criteria and name is irrelevant once you’ve got the eTicket

I guess the only worry there is that some people who can’t go may buy the seat and sell it on at above face value.. We’ll see I guess

Can't understand so many people getting wound up about price, particularly since the club announced their packages, when the reality is you can still, as of 11am this morning, get direct flights from the UK, and decent accommodation for 3 to even 4 nights for around £500. Don't let the cost of the official trip the club have announced deter you. Just think (very slightly) outside the box. It doesn't have to be a trip from your doorstep to the turnstile.

Just use the passport for the person using the ticket. They’re not going to correlate it with the person whose points were used for the code. They won’t check anyway.

Would be good if City could confirm this, I’d much rather leave my passport in the hotel.

There’s a set number of tickets available to 18-25 (which I think is 5% of the allocation given to points). Like they’re going with the overall criteria, the club are waiting to see how many in this category register their interest before they decide criteria. I believe that there are around 4,000 seasoncard holders in this age group.

Does anyone know whether the club travel package will be available to none cup scheme holders or if they’ll be any criteria in place? Unfortunately commitments mean I would need to do the day trip as pricey as it looks

The problem with the whole thing is UEFA giving the final to Istanbul, it should be on mainland Europe for all fans and teams to get to easily, they don’t give a fuck don’t blame City.

One advantage is accommodation is relatively cheap. Because Istanbul is so huge, an extra 50,000 people in town doesn’t have the same impact on prices as it would in a smaller place. For example Munich hotel prices were horrendous. Also there are flights from many more cities across Europe providing more options than a smaller city, although there doesn’t seem to be many bargains left for flights.

I registered last night for an access code. I was able to request a code for myself and my wife as she's on my friend's and family.

Question is will I be able to buy both of our tickets via the Uefa ticket app or will we have to purchase tickets separately?

City will sell out the group i travel with for home games, some have season cards, some have membership, the one thing in common they are all travelling. I have had messages from people who are coming over from Australia for this, the club will push tickets all over the globe. It's a once in a credit card event, just do it

No doubt those club trip prices will put some people off but as far as anecdotal evidence goes, I still know loads more going to this than the FA Cup semi and we took around 32,000 to that. Once the allocation for players, club officials, corporate, and SCs is creamed off there might be less than 15,000 on sale to the rest of us. Also, I’ve got a cousin flying in from Bali, and my other half’s brother-in-law is coming from Perth. There will be loads of exiled blues all over the world doing the same. I think it probably still sells out but those club trip prices probably open it up to those on lower points, plus if the codes and tickets are indeed transferable it makes it easier for those exiled fans to tap up SC holders who aren’t going.

Download the uefa app and follow the instructions mate, email name etc and it asks for your passport number to register, that’s it, then we you get your ticket it will be on that app.
