If there were only 3k cat 4s, I’m sure they’d have sold out a lot earlier. 6k sounds much more plausible.

A lot of talk that there were 6k Cat4 tickets, not 3k. I’d be surprised if there were 6k Cat2

The 2022 breakdown for the dippers was as follows:

Category 1: £578.63 / (£461.23 restricted view) – 4.6% of the allocation

Category 2: £410.91 / (£327.05 restricted view) – 16.4% of the allocation

Category 3: £125.79 / (£100.63 restricted view) – 55.7% of the allocation

Category 4: £50.32 / (£41.93 restricted view) – 23.3% of the allocation

Nearly 80% were the two cheapest categories so that would equate to roughly 16k for us so that would make sense for 6k cat 4 and 10k cat 3.

The supporters clubs were "entitled" to 4000 of the allocation or 20% they didnt take the full quota, but i know of 6 fans within a supporters club who don't have even a membership with City who have tickets, all the tickets were category 3

To be fair, 490 pages of the questions wouldn’t have needed asking if people had taken two minutes to read the info City emailed everyone.

I have only received one email confirming that I applied for an access code. I've had no other emails.

Because I’ve got no idea what they were called. I was just talking in the hotel bar and asked them how they got their tickets and this is what they told me. They knew it was a joke themselves but they are hardly going to stop the gravy train.

The pricing structure of the ticket categories is bonkers.
The jump in price between Cat 3 and Cat 2 (£269) is by itself more than the cost of the most expensive (posh Club Wembley seats) ticket for the FA Cup final. UEFA and logic have never gone hand in hand.

Could still be 3k tickets left then, cant imagine many chose that category when all the others were still available.

Would it have been better to link each access code to the CS member so that only they can buy and use the ticket for themselves?

How many people do we think are on the CS, are not going but still used their access code for a mate?

To answer the second question, I think it will have been a high percentage. I know of people who did it.

If what is being reported is true - that 7,000 were siphoned off for the OSC and the club - the remaining 13,000 have nearly all sold out at the end of the cup scheme criteria. We've had people say that there are 14.5k - 18k people on the cup scheme. Without knowing how many cup scheme members will be at the final, it becomes difficult to predict how many codes were passed on. But if half of the cup scheme members were to be in Istanbul, it's not inconceivable that 4-6,000 could have done it.

We all know someone like that mate. It goes on, not all OSC’s but the majority. Think the writings on the wall for these clubs regards to away tickets…
