Aké is basically a LB atm. We have 3 cbs if you discount that Laporte is leaving. 5 cbs for the 3+1 slots at the back.

Hope we’re not worried about ffp and going for the cheap midfield option. Things are cheaper for a reason.

City are pretty much dominating this league, with the best manager in the world, and will be favourites again for every trophy next season too. We’re a hell of a draw for any player, why aren’t we after the very best available?

Realistically, if we want 2 midfielders, plus Gvardiol, one of the midfielders has to be a cheap-ish option to keep it within budget. Muppets in the media say we have bottomless resources, but the reality is that we stick to budgets/valuations every single summer. This window will be no different.

The source is usually very reliable. Have been following the account for years, mostly post stuff about youth players (usually not transfers news) but on the odd occasion some transfer news as well, that too mostly about youth player transfers. Think he was first with City signing Wimbledon youth GK Spike Brits a few weeks ago, thats the kind of transfer stuff he normally posts if its something regarding transfers. Lets see if the deal gets done, rarely seen him post stuff about senior transfers but its certainly not a shit account making up transfer rumors for likes and retweets from what I've seen anyway:)

But we’re after Kovacic plus Bellingham or Rice (Rice backup to Bellingham). Tolmie has already said this. So you’re being a bit panicky over nothing really. It happens every window when peoples’ favourite signing isn’t completed first.
