Second half was better than the first but we didn’t give him the ball. Once WB was booked it should have been over there a lot more.
foden should start in the finals
I hope Foden starts too but unfortunately: Pep is gonna PEP.Did nothing today which is a shame i expected him to light up Wembley , Foden plays against Milan for me , Jack's a great player but he didnt do enough to warrant a place next Saturday, i think the penalty decision knocked the stuffing out of him , he can do plenty of damage off the bench against Milan.
Lol so how did Wan Beeswax get the yellow? Cursing the ref?Really disappointed with him today. He should have been able to terrorise Wan Beeswax and never laid a glove on him. Over to Phil.
That can't be decided based on just one worse game from him, he warranted his place on the CL because of the amazing season he has doneFoden plays against Milan for me , Jack's a great player but he didnt do enough to warrant a place next Saturday
He’s going to be a City fan, as well as Villa, by the time he’s finished here. He loves it here. The lad is a Villa fan.
He's also a winner. He gets us and loves the way we play and the atmosphere at the club. He will do great things in our shirt.
When he goes we will hold a special place for him. Wouldn't surprise me if once he's done everything he can with us he goes back to his boyhood club and I wouldn't begrudge him one bit.

For what it's worth, if he's struggling with injury and fitness, I don't think Pep would have played him yesterday, or not for so long, if he didn't believe he'll be back up to speed soon and plan to play him in the CL final. Phil's been playing centrally more lately, and hasn't had a whole lot of game time either way, so it would have been more beneficial to give him a long stretch of the match on the left in preparation, and sit Jack on the bench to get minimal minutes + maximum rest to the end of the season to aid his recovery.Saw an interview after the game Jack said he’d only trained once or twice I wonder if he’s carrying a knock? Foden to start for me next week if he’s not up to speed

So I expect Jack on the left is the plan for next week. But I agree, if he's still struggling with injury or sluggish in training then we have to start Phil instead.

Jack and Phil have had great periods and quiet ones this season. Jack's form has come good at just the right time for him to be playing the big games.Come on, if Sterling or Torres had put up the season Jack has done the forum would be pissing itself laughing at the suggestion that they should start the CL final over Foden. The standards for a 'great season' for Grealish are incredibly low.

No one is jumping on anyones case , its an opinion and nothing else , because a few on here prefer Foden starting the Champs league final doesnt mean we are jumping on Grealish.Amazed at how quickly people jump on his case saying Foden should start next weekend.
Yeah, drop the player who’s been consistently brilliant all season for the biggest game of his life because of a quiet game in which the opposition purposely funnelled the whole play inside and not out wide.
Fuck me, (some) gents.
Should’ve had an assist as well.

Think we all know what he was doing up at that time but the point stands
