Did nothing today which is a shame i expected him to light up Wembley , Foden plays against Milan for me , Jack's a great player but he didnt do enough to warrant a place next Saturday, i think the penalty decision knocked the stuffing out of him , he can do plenty of damage off the bench against Milan.

Was never a penalty but he needs to be mentally stronger and not let it affect him. Still class and with ten minutes left there is no one you would rather have the ball. Very rarely loses it. No one better at winding the clock down.

For what it's worth, if he's struggling with injury and fitness, I don't think Pep would have played him yesterday, or not for so long, if he didn't believe he'll be back up to speed soon and plan to play him in the CL final. Phil's been playing centrally more lately, and hasn't had a whole lot of game time either way, so it would have been more beneficial to give him a long stretch of the match on the left in preparation, and sit Jack on the bench to get minimal minutes + maximum rest to the end of the season to aid his recovery.

So I expect Jack on the left is the plan for next week. But I agree, if he's still struggling with injury or sluggish in training then we have to start Phil instead.

Jack and Phil have had great periods and quiet ones this season. Jack's form has come good at just the right time for him to be playing the big games.

Phil was unlucky with the injury and then struggling to get back in the team. He has looked very good last few games when coming on and starting.

Both may play the final.

No one is jumping on anyones case , its an opinion and nothing else , because a few on here prefer Foden starting the Champs league final doesnt mean we are jumping on Grealish.
Grealish had a poor game against the Rags like a few of the players , Bernardo's place could also be at risk , because Foden in his recent games and sub appearances has shown he is hungry and ready and has affected games and if both Foden & Grealish are on top form Foden is the better player , more goal threat and can play several positions , right ,left , middle , Jack cannot
If you think Grealish is undroppable fine , thats your opinion they are both great players and worthy of a place.
