I watched that presser, first few question were spanish and italian journos, all abput the game and tactics/squad/imporrance of game etc all very profesional and decent

”I find it incredibly hard to believe that City of all clubs haven’t cheated over the past 14 or so years. It’s almost idiotic to believe otherwise.

Ironically, I think relegation would be a brilliant thing for the club. We’ve got to used to winning back to back titles and spending the casual 100 million. Maybe we need some slumber to remind newer fans of the troubles we had 40 years ago. Yeah, Pep (despite all comments) would probably leave, players and other staff following soon after.”

Do we actually have a legit source for that or is it just a bluemoon rumour? Can't really imagine the cartel clubs wanting an independent regulator.

I watched that interview and Pep gave a rye smile before answering it.

He's not daft he knows the media want him to fail. I think Pep uses the fact that the media are scarred shitless of MCFC and jealous of us in equal measure as a motivation.

After all, one thing we thank the broadcasting media and written press for is the seige mentally and togetherness that exists in the City camp.

Long may it continue because once the media get behind you the only way is down, just ask the rags.
