Aware I'm sounding like a broken record. Once again outside Fleetwood baths in my car waiting for the radio 2 sports news. Two minutes on Andy Murray, two more on the Premier league " game of the season rags v the arse commentary on goals from previous clashes between the two of them. Funny I could have sworn the champions of England had won a six goal thriller against another top side, not even mentioned. BBC don't like a story they ignore it. This has been the case after all our midweek wins yet our defeat to Southampton got the coverage of aroyal wedding. Once again I have to ask WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!

They're rag/dipper cunts.

Yes they caught Pep with that one. Can only think he was away down the tunnel so thought it must have been true.Matterface also tried it to Mahrez but he said something 'no ike we have good fans no booing"
Just to complete my media moan I'd like to mention Sam Lee who got himself on Radio Mcr pre match and advised us Pep was now just reduced to experimenting with his line ups hoping it worked . Wouldn't really call worlds honest property Haaland and a world cup winnibg star in Alvarez behind him taking a wild gamble .
Matterface started the narrative. He is is incapable of being impartial. He was gutted at City's comeback and determined to find a negative angle and the rest of the press pack were deighted to join the pile on. So City win 4-2 after a thrilling comeback and the press don't want to celebrate the football they want to wallow in negativity and fuel tribal hatred of our fans. All I heard was a brief smattering of boos after concedng twice in two minutes and some weak decisions from the referee (to tackle the Spurs cheats).
I understand what Pep was trying to say but, again, he chose the wrong words. It is ridiculous when the club's manager allows himself to be manipulated by a hostile press. The comment Pep made about Spurs fans was bollocks. They were the quietest away support this season, understandably so. It is very wrong to point fingers at the 53,000 people who struggled through the snow and ice (some paying £70 for tickets) and transport chaos. I believe that our fans (the paying customers) deserve more respect from the club.

Yup.. take it from me, everyone sitting around our group in the Family Stand was jeering that useless referee off the pitch at half-time, not the Lads (Pep, please take note before opening your 'boca' in future..)

The only reason Spurs kept close to us in that first half was because they were allowed to do their usual dirty tricks of late tackles and disruptive blocking by that useless f**ker in charge of the game. We weren't playing well but we were building some steam until, from approximately 25minutes onward, Spurs flicked the switch to start the rough stuff (and, btw, what was all the systematic targeting of Rico Lewis all about, as if I didn't know?)

When we went under the stand at half-time, my brother said 'We'll do these 4-2', which I thought was bravado but, hey, you never know with City..

I have asked him for the Lottery numbers this weekend, so if anyone's interested send me a message..!!

So f**k the media and their strategy of negative spin or else ignoring us (eg R4 sports piece at 8.30am this morning made no mention of our game nor the result/amazing comeback..)

'Write my papers?' I wouldn't trust any of the partial, useless f**kers in the media to deliver them..
I quoted somewhere else that the NS had a good night vocally, I was sat in 127 and a lot of it reverberated our way, keep it going! As for the ref what an unfit plank, he looked like an overweighted fella trying to eat a chicken pal, it was too much for him, just like the game, the worst one was a foul around halfway, as blatant a free kick & yellow you’d see all game, he just stared at the incident & continued to do so, even after the ball had gone past him, he then thought shit I’m supposed to be the ref & ran after the players

Wrong take on it @Spurs quarter 69.

Spurs win the game 4-2 it's a 6 goal thriller in the best league in the world.

City win 4-2, it's bad for the game as we continue to walk the league (in second place!?!) and Pepbhas a go at the fanbase.

Simples..........

Why would that contradict anything in that article? All it’s doing is reporting on what Pep said post match, it’s not an opinion piece or an editorial.

The post match is described as a "rant" and that is editorial, and the article leads with the fan criticism and not with Pep's comments on our players' lack of passion and that's editorial too.

Matterface is a Chelsea fan. Utter prick though.

I’ve just read it again and I can’t see it being described as a rant anywhere?

Take the point about the headline, I was more referring to the overall article.

The sanitisation of football means that there is less tribalism and thus less vocal support. The end result of this is that you change supporters in audience members.
