only trying to make sense why we would show interest in Rice (confirmed by tolmie & ornstein)

if players are "unhappy" (in Bernardos case his wife) we tent to give the players their wish ...i don`t think rodri is unhappy atm but he is spain biggest & only star & next year the situation could look different...if Rice goes to Arsenal now then he`s gone for the next 5 years

you suggest i`m a wum/troll?..pep fan first (from germany) but over the years developed sympathy for city..when he`s gone..idk how i will feel..atm i`m happy for myself & everyone who likes city

Only sympathy i have is for all the other teams who cant live with us..

True. We do give them their wish as long as a proper fee is forthcoming. That is why Bernardo is still here despite him 'wishing' to leave. Rodri is the best DM in the world and I believe has ambitions to captain City someday. Someone would have to have very very deep pockets. If you are a city fan then posts hinting that Real M just have to whistle and one of our best players is gone will not get many likes. Remember, the same was said of Kun and look how that turned out.

Rice is not one of my favourites and is very different to Rodri but if Pep sees something in him then you can bet he will improve if he comes here.

i guess...used this word because i`m not a fan like big steve, esteemed kompany or BM owner (longtime, spending cash on games etc)

City is Capital C

Rice isn’t a Bernardo replacement. If anything it could be Kalvin replaced. Absolutely no reason why Rodri and Rice couldn’t play in the same side

I guess you used that word because sympathie in German can also mean like/liking, so you have developed a liking for City as opposed to ‘you feel sorry for City’, which is how some have interpreted it. :-)

The commentary from him that he doesn't want to leave and wants to fight for his position also tracks, and doesn't mean much. Of course he wants to fight for his position, and any team that might take him will want him to have that attitude. Does anyone want a player that wants to play golf, drink beer and shag all the fancy young ladies in town? Doubtful. Even Hazard said he wanted to fight for his spot, when he clearly did not.
