If as reported his American girlfriend & kids are living in Manchester & Pep was cool with a return to City for purely footballing reasons, then why not?

I don't believe you should ever go back, but there again they say never say never.

All the talent in the world counts for little without hard work & dedication to your craft.

Leroy looks like a player who realises he hasn't hit the career heights he should've done.

I'd loved to have eavesdropped on that conversation...
 
Seems a no brainer he wouldn’t cost the earth, knows what is expected at City, he can play both wings, score goals and is probably hitting what should be the peak of his career.

Big boots to fill, but good competition for Mahrez if Silva leaves & Foden moves inside.

I didn't realise Mahrez has a 1 in 3 strike rate for City & a 1 in 4 assist rate too. He's not got the effervescence of Bernardo, but who has?

It's always baffled me why many City fans don't seem to rate him.

he always did, its only LW he played here really and that was due to Sterling needing coaching on the right

Massive difference, one turned down a amount good for 6 generations to stay at city and other on is busy getting punched by his team mate and cries like a baby.
 
Make no mistake, Bayern have the same Leroy we had back then:

inconsistent, motivational issues, no resilience when things go wrong, questionable training attitude, lazy defensive workrate. We had all of that here, tbh. If you can put aside your romantic memories...

Leroy will always be the player where you see immense potential but he doesn't really deliver. City, Bayern, German team:
Consistently inconsistent. Makes you mad.

I would lose my faith in City's fantastic scouting of the last years when Leroy came back.
We have finally made it to the top after signing mentality monsters like Ruben, Rodri and Erling. We have brought in top attitude, passion, resilience, intelligence, leadership, responsibility and team spirit.
All of that is making the difference between "good" and "top".
Leroy clearly fails in any of those points.

I wouldn't understand if we binned that winning philosophy and buy questionable attitude. Especially as we exactly know what Pep demands.
 
Has always congratulated us on our Premier league wins, congratulated us on the treble, always said good things about us, has been seen to watch us on his Instagram.

Would love Sane back, he's a blue.
 
How old is he now? Question should be, are there better and younger players available instead? If not then a no brainier, if so then we shouldn’t be entertaining it.
 
Get him signed!!!

I would rather have a known quantity than buy another winger who could turn out crap. We know Leroy’s faults but he must have grown up a little in Munich. You can never have enough weapons on the pitch. His link up with Erling could be special. Knows the club and Manchester. Ticks all the boxes.

If the fee is reasonable then it’s a must signing. Don’t want him going to another English team.
