I think that's the point he's making pal...
I know. But it didn’t really have relevance to the post I was replying to.

Exactly what I thought when I found out todayWhy's the England game at OT if it's good enough for England why not the Community Shield or is it FA (cut from the same cheek as FIFA&UEFA) just taking the piss with us?
Liverpool have some very good things in place for ticketing off the back of their fans complaining to their club.Has that worked mate? Not the Scousers, as in has it reduced ticket prices?
Hi Eric I am loyal blue ! I apologise for my comments I was a little drunk and had no rights to use them words ! And I apologise to the 1894 group I do understand there stance I just think that nothing will change either way and city need our support but it’s there choice and I respect that. It’s 1894, not 1884.
And how you can justify telling fellow Blues (assuming you are a Blue?) to “fuck off” and label them “pricks” is beyond me.
Sorry I have apologised I was a little drunk and didn’t mean what I said! I do fully understandYou don’t even know what year City were formed.
If you don’t understand why fans have a problem with this fixture day+time, that’s on you, not on the ‘pricks’ who do understand.
I’m someone who likes the Community Shield and think it’s a good trophy to win and think people across football who call this a meaningless friendly are a bit odd. But I’m right behind this boycott because it’s time we stood up for ourselves as fans and stop being taken for mugs.
For me, the Community Shield and FA Cup semis should not be played at venues that are roughly half-way between where both clubs are from. And the Community Shield, EFL Cup final and last game of the Premier League season should all be played at 15.00 on a Saturday. And we as fans need to make more of all of them being scheduled on Sundays and venues at kick off times that suit one set of fans miles more than the other.
Loads of Blues had to dart off before the penalty shoot-outs against Chelsea in the 2019 EFL Cup final and 2019 Community Shield in order to catch their train back to Manchester. They didn’t want to miss it, but had to. But you think people having a problem with this sort of thing are ‘pricks’ and need to ‘fuck off’?
Just to enjoy this time in history before where playing the likes of macc again? You never noYes, I remember Macc away. It was a 3pm kick-off on a Saturday so what's your point?

All U16s PL tickets in every stand in Anfield are just £9.
10,000 tickets over a full season for PL games are on offer to be applied for by fans with an ‘L’ postcode for just £9 per game for adults. It’s called the Local General Sale Tickets scheme.
I think they’re both excellent initiatives and when compared to City and seeing how much U16s pay (creeping over £40 for some of the bigger games now) and we have nothing in place for local fans, in fact it feels like tourists are favoured.
Don’t forget though that they only have 25k season ticket holders so they can fleece tourists for one off games.Liverpool have some very good things in place for ticketing off the back of their fans complaining to their club.

Community Shield: Late Sunday kick-off 'will lead to empty seats'
The decision to hold the Community Shield on a Sunday evening will "undoubtedly lead to empty seats", says the Football Supporters' Association.www.bbc.com
Not saying that at all. I am saying that boycotting a game that lots wouldn’t go to anyway will have zero affect. Boycotting a league away game they change for TV would be far more effective.May as well just give up then and accept ridiculous kick off times, awful pricing and the complete disregard for ordinary football fans
The 5k raised on the just giving page shows it’s far from an empty gesture. What do we think will be achieved by boycotting this game? The Fa, premiere league and TV companies will all suddenly realise that we have had enough and change their ways? It's an empty gesture that will have zero impact.
I get the need to save money, I understand and agree that we need to be heard and taken into account, but this will do fuck all. Lets not pretend this is a grand gesture, when in truth a lot wouldn't have bothered anyway.
I did say something similar in a previous post. The 5k raised on the just giving page shows it’s far from an empty gesture.
Fair play for being man enough to apologise. Full respect for that.I have Apologised to a few people on here what I said was wrong i had been on the pop! And do fully understand their stance !
I don't, I said I think it would be interesting press and other team's fans. Whatever. Why do you care so much about what other fans think?
