Let Arse have him and take that price tag with him. I hope City walk away from this one.
Arsenal net spend last 5 yrs is around £550m, that’s double ours already before the purchase of Rice. So, if Arsenal bag Rice for that price, I'm guessing they can't use the "City just bought success" argument anymore.
There's better out there. I'd rather put that cash towards trying to get Mbappe personally. Rice is nowhere near that level.I believe pep will make him world class because he is the best ever
Think a few said that about Phillips…I believe pep will make him world class because he is the best ever
Also please txiki,do it for the hundred squid im going to put on at 4/1 pretty pleasei don`t want him but if txiki would bid £115m it would be too glorious. Please Txiki - do it for the meme/banter & Pep will also be happy!
Exactly why we want them to splurge even more.Arsenal net spend last 5 yrs is around £550m, that’s double ours already before the purchase of Rice.
Don't understand why people compare this deal to the Grealish one, the only thing similar is the fee and the nationality. Unlike Rice, Grealish was one of the best players in the league and a real contender for being PL player of the season. Most also thought we needed to upgrade Sterling. Rice just plays regularly for a mid-table team that parks the bus and have a big head which makes sure he is an England international regular since he plays in the one position England doesnt have an abundance of good players.Nah, but neither was Grealish. We have the money and there aren't many players we want, so you can see why sometimes we pay over the odds to make sure a deal gets done.
I dont like the way hes "open " to joining us. I want players here who are desperate to play for us
Fucking Mbappe….. Jesus Christ. There's better out there. I'd rather put that cash towards trying to get Mbappe personally. Rice is nowhere near that level.
Just won a treble, we have to be going for the Top, Top stars in football.
I don't think they will be able to reduce the number of years - have a look at their net spend figures.
