So why do the charges go back to 2012? Anything older than 2018 will be time barred and will be a non-starter if trueIt's not true that time barring doesn't exist under Premier League rules?
Under English law it still remains to be five years?

I think this is unlikely to have come from the PL investigation not least because it only damages their case. I supect it has been a fishing expedition by Matt Lawton who no doubt spoke to Nick MCgeehan an an attempt to find some sort of angle on City during "the silly season" when there is not much news around. The youtube video is essentially a fake news story designed to damage City but personally I don't think that even someone as stupid as Richard Masters would have been involved. On the other hand it makes The Times look stupid for running a three-year-old story as a new one. They already got their fingers burned during the UEFA investigation when they ran some leaks which turned out to be false. So, with the revelation being old news is this more or less likely to have been a steer from the PL investigation panel?

Exactly what I’ve been posting for nearly 18 months palSo they are getting the pitch forks out for £30 million split over two years. It’s desperate desperate stuff, the club have been fined nearly £60 million between 2014 and 2020 and given a squad reduction during that time. If you add all that up, what financial advantage have the club got from it?
Chelsea have written off £1.5 billion from their previous owner and are now embarking in n some very suspect activity of selling off their bloated squad to balance the books. Nothing to see here.
Thought it's 6 years? It's not true that time barring doesn't exist under Premier League rules?

might of won champions league sooner if UEFA didnt have grudge against usMight not have won a treble

I think they started the investigation in 2018 so they can go back to 2012,I may be wrongSo why do the charges go back to 2012? Anything older than 2018 will be time barred and will be a non-starter if true
Yes I was pleasantly surprised by both Dein and Oakshot. Lawton is a prize knob.Just saw the David Dein clip. Ha ha - fair play to him. I don’t think Morgan was expecting that - probably thought a fellow Gooner would go all in on us!
Still, companies usually have security software which automatically detects then warns users if an email is suspicious, on top of the endless user awareness training etc..I heard from someone who knows about IT security that Raul Pinto sent very basic phishing emails that dumb fucks opened and clicked on dodgy attachments. There was nothing sophisticated.
im a bit worried he thinks a game lasts 60 minutes thoughFwiw agree with DD RE time wasting and penalties.
Spot-on. This is the definition of bad faith. These payments were already considered and dismissed by CAS after the UEFA case. They actually date back to a period before FFP was implemented by the PL. They were mentioned in a story in the Guardian in 2020 and City confirmed them to UEFA and provided the club's explanation. Presumably the auditors would also have been aware of them. But we passed the various audits, UEFA took no action, and CAS dismissed them anyway. Is this some sort of bombshell. Matt Lawton has made a fool of himself and his newspaper again.
