Fits the profile more than Doku, never been blown away by Olise. Decent player yes but not seen anything to suggest he’s the very top level. That said if City want him, I trust their judgement & likely in no time at all Pep will have him flying.

I'm all for this signing, he's a really exciting prospect who is already producing a lot of chances in a ropey team. Palmer might have more about him eventually (and similar ages of course) but Olise has more evidence to back it up already

£35 million may seem like a reasonable price, but he would at least be injured until after October, and there's no guarantee of his future fitness（same situation on Jeremy Doku）. I've already seen this scenario with Phillips in the last season, so I doubt Manchester City's top management would consider it a wise choice.

I like him more than Doku. Doku is too erratic in his play, whereas you can see Olise is a Pep player. Everything he does is controlled.

Watched Raz in a couple of pre-season games for the Chavs (scouting for FPL raisins) and he's regressed even further than he was with us. Easily their weakest link in attack.

The lad has the potential to be world class. His technique is superb and his close control is outstanding.

He is a bit of a maverick at the minute but Pep could turn him into one of the best in the world. You would be crazy not to go for him at £35m. Perfect Mahrez replacement with better potential

For £35m, 21 years of age, and 11 PL assists for Palace last season (KDB got 16), it’s venturing into no-brainer territory since even if he ends up being a bad fit, we still probably make a profit on him or at least get our money back. But the potential upside is huge if it works out. Is he the best winger imaginable to replace Mahrez? No, not really. I’d have been happy to just wait until next season for someone better. But at that price? May as well get it done really. Not much to lose.
