If he signs, let's just hope we get the player that was so effective at Lyon and not the flop at his previous club, AC Milan. During his time at Lyon, he rediscovered his ability to play a killer through ball, something the likes of Haaland will thrive on. His goal return there was impressive too. A quick gander at his stats from last season at WH would suggest a defensive midfielder though that's probably attributable to the way that tactical genius, Moyes, played him. What is clear is that Paquetá is a player prepared to do his share of defensive duties and track back when necessary. In short, an ideal Pep player.
