I'm ignoring that speculation, it doesn't mean much to me. I'm of the opinion we can look at many options right now.
From what I've gathered today;
Bobb stays, according to Gaughan. Learning for him, free squaddy for cups etc.
Same source says McAtee may stay on a similair basis (althought I'm a little skeptical)
...and Palmer more likely to leave, he needs the minutes is the clear message.
Elsewhere Laporte on his way although latest reports suggest as likely not to Saudi. Real, Arsenal, Villa seemingly interested.
Cancelo we wait on Barca's bid
Interest in Ortega. Can't see the replacement tho.
So... I assume THB is going to get a move. Philips aside - the one name not coming up is Gomez.
Brighton and us both linked with the Argentinian LB, although he's supposedly likely to stay for Copa Libertadores. Does that mean there is a question about Estupian? That could have been the Brighton thing all along?

There’s only really 3 players that’d cost a huge sum that would melt the internet if they joined us… Kimmich, Vini Jnr, FDJ. Of course the likes of Neymar or Mbappé would but they are even less likely than those already mentioned. Salah could but only in the PL, maybe Saka? Both of those would cause outrage at home but not overseas. I’m not convinced ANY of those are likely of course but one can dream.

We are looking to sign someone from a Premier League team or elsewhere. A fee will be involved, possibly quite large. They can't tell us who it is yet till it is confirmed by the club, on the official website. It could happen soon or in the winter window, or next summer, but it is definitely going to happen. A meaningless video or cryptic clue will be posted if there is any concrete news.

Kvicha, Pedri, Musiala or Gavi would be a dream. Sounding nice would be an understatement. We sign any of them, I would walk like am packing a 12" slong and a A 100 Billion POUND networthSounds nice though right ;)
