Same as Grealish then ?Eze is talented yes, but 90m? That's bad no matter how it's spun. He's 25 with no European experience, I'm sure we could get Barella for that price.
Eze much better at this point...much further along...I've seen him in fewer than that but I must admit I was disappointed when I did see him play.
Between that and reading your posts, living the fucking dreamSounds like a fun life you have there
4 years older. He literally had one good season. It doesn't justify the quoted price. We could get a player at his level from continental Europe at half the price. I used Jesper Lindstroms (from Frankfurt) example earlier in this thread. We need a world-class midfielder, and he is definitely not world-class. He is not a box-to-box either. I would rather pay more for someone ready-made (Barella) or younger with a higher ceiling (Wirtz). Anyone saying they are not available is just guessing, and nobody actually knows anything for certain. I highly doubt they would reject 100m+ offers.Eze much better at this point...much further along...
I'm sure Grealish had been included in the England squad by thenSame as Grealish then ?
I think if Wirtz was available we would be all over it. Sometimes players don’t want to move. City would know his situation.Just make a major bid for Wurtz, lets see how much they want to keep him.
I really don't see a best midfielder in the world in Barrela. His a good player alright. I think people are overreacting to his once in a bluemoon magic goals. You have been slandering Barella too long in hopes we get Wirtz.
I like Wirtz, but Barella is one of the best midfielders in the world, and can basically do everything.
Who I still maintain wasn't and isn't worth 100m.. but alasSame as Grealish then ?
But alas we still won the treble.Who I still maintain wasn't and isn't worth 100m.. but alas
Doesn't mean he was worth 100m, does it?But alas we still won the treble.
Heard this narrative a couple times he wouldn't want to move and it seems like just an assumption because he's Italian. Here's what he said in 2018, sure doesn't sound like someone who wouldn't leave Italy. Of course, that doesn't mean he wants to leave now, but he was open to it years ago.And quite probably not for sale or not interested in a move.

I admit I haven't read every page, but where is confirmation that we are willing to pay £90m for him.Eze is talented yes, but 90m? That's bad no matter how it's spun. He's 25 with no European experience, I'm sure we could get Barella for that price.

You guys are mistaking team accolades for individual capacity. Barella didn't carry Inter. He was there when they were average at the beginning of the season.Barella has won a league title with Inter, gotten to a UCL final and won a European title with Italy all while being one of the top 3 players in each of those squads. He is a proven player at the highest levels with the mentality of a winner and a work rate second to none. Eze at this point in his career isn't a pimple on Barella's ass as an overall footballer, c'mon now...
Couldn’t disagree more tbh.I really don't see a best midfielder in the world in Barrela. His a good player alright. I think people are overreacting to his once in a bluemoon magic goals.
He looks the kind of midfielder who'd be a role player on a great team. That's it. Eze is more direct competition for Wirtz. And Wirtz is just better all around albeit Eze is a better dribbler..
Barella is Kovacic with less control and a better shot
No player is worth that !! but this is big business we're talking not poundsaver.Doesn't mean he was worth 100m, does it?
Eze has played for England too.I'm sure Grealish had been included in the England squad by then
