I went to watch us there in the cup in 2004 under keegan, it just reminded me of walking down the front of Blackpool, tat and shite everywhere.
That tram journey from town to the shithole was one of the worst experiences as a city fan I've had, I just wanted to twat every fuckin one of the plastic twats. Release clause’s are a legal requirement in Spain, they’re not here, so I don’t see any reason why you can’t negotiate any payment terms, either with the player when the contract is signed or the buying club

A RELEASE CLAUSE IS AFAIK ALWAYS PAID IN 1 SUM TO SELLER.

We paid Grealish, Laporte, Rodri, Haaland, Gomez in 1 lump sum. Why? Because we had to!
