The Conservative Party

more evidence emerges that the "party that is good with our money " in reality does soundbites and pisses taxpayers money up the fucking wall

The only skill they have is they vote Tory.

Says a guy on £365k a year.

Is he superhuman as well?

Now many of you will argue he gets paid well because he is good at his job and not many could do it as well……

The difference between boardroom elites and cultural elites like actors, writers, directors ,radio presenters, etc is that one just manages the movement of capital while the other actually produces content(ie. labor). Unfortunately our society seems to monetarily value the former than the latter.

Clearly not given the fortunes they earn off the back of being popular with society.

Given his salary, he is a bit of a hypocrite I’m afraid coming out with what he said and so too are those lauding him for it whilst ignoring his own standing and wealth in comparison to the vast majority he pretends to represent.

I could be cruel here and call him a grifter by using so many and their struggles for financial gain…

LMAO! What does his salary have anything to do with private sector executives getting raises while the government has no qualms telling public sector works to take a hike?

These executives are seemingly only good at moving capital especially when it comes to their raises. But what about the laborers that produce the products or content that actually sells to the masses?

Whether it’s train drivers, bus drivers, doctors, nurses, writer, actors, etc. all these people are finally seeing some form of labor action for good reason. Even those top actors and radio presenters you smear have donated millions to the SAG-AFTRA strike cause they know it’s the writers, producers, ie labor that gets things done and they all are due compensation.

It’s worse enough that the private sector is that way but for your own government trying to screw labor?! That is class warfare and not the kind that is schilled by Murdochs ghouls.

You’re either missing the forest for the trees or brush up on your sophistry.

It's just distraction.

Plus O'Brien doesn't fix his own salary and board members do fix their own - that "remuneration committee".

If I recall, there was once a table of "most profitable town in the country", based on company profits over turnover. Our town realised that the way to progress up that table was to get rid of the remaining labour-intensive marginal-profit metal-bashing industries - put people out of work and become more profitable, no doubt with bonuses for the bosses handing out redundancy notices for making the town more profitable, but poorer.

No issue with people earning a crust, it’s when the cunts decide that the majority of it goes to them and not to those who made it.

Regardless of private or public, those who are at the top chose to look after themselves. Is this what we want?

There's an excellent academic that did the numbers on productivity and remuneration for his PHD. He worked out proved conclusively that hierarchy has a greater correlation with pay than productivity does.

CEOs aren't more hundreds of times more productive than their underlings. It's just propaganda.

His name is Blair Fix. If you would like to check his research out.

The right of individual property in land, machinery, and productive power; the right of individual accumulation of wealth, which enables one man to engross for luxury what would suffice to make thousands happy; and the right to buy and sell human labour by which the multitude are made subservient to the few — these are fountains of social injustice.

(William Lovett, 1836)

And disparity of wealth is now a lot worse.

Laudable sentiment but it had as much effect in 1836 as it will in 2023 and I’d wager 2150…

I wasn't arguing that point.

Of course Hotels are costly and unsustainable in the long run, It's just frustrating how the Tories have handled all this. They've had 13 years in power and made the process slower and longer.
I wonder what percentage of these hotel owners are Tory party donors. They’ll be affordable until the next election, then applications will be processed quicker and these hotels will go back to being Air BnBs.

Truth is .....Asylum seekers are in hotels as that ramps up the cost and gets the gammons baying for blood. It also justifies the cost of the Rwanda policy and spending £1.6 billion on a barge contract. They could easily house them a lot cheaper (by processing the applications quicker)

Why would they want to speed up the processing of applications, if according to many sources I find in the media, 80% of the asylum seekers have a valid claim and would get the refugee status. There is a critical mass of population in England specifically that do not want immigrants and asylum seekers no matter what!
