I dont get this. They are going to stay for an hour after the game finishes, the cameras have gone home, nothing is being shown on tv.

Wouldnt walking out be a bigger show.
As soon as they have sat down for 60 minutes, they will get a bit thirsty, go buy a pint in the ground, maybe some food…. Then visit the club shop on the way out when the queues have died down, to spend more money for The Glazers to pocket.

It’s wonderful

I guess this 60 minute sit in will only affect the stadium staff and police. Seems odd why the fans are picking on them.

Having to focus policing for an extra hour in the swamp when they could be focusing on more important stuff. All because their owners have spent north of £170 million this summer, my heart bleeds for the raggy hordes,

If their first 11 all drop out injured they might have a decent performance.
To be honest that is a genuine concern of mine, some fringe players given a chance might actually put in a shift and force some of the regular first teamers to up their game and give supporters reason to be more buoyant and vocal... all things we don't want.

Be interesting to see how many stay behind for the sit-in. We did it in 1993 against Swales when we played QPR and I reckon a good 10,000 or so stayed back. That was on a day when there were probably around 25,000 in the ground so anything less than 30,000 sitting in tomorrow will be deemed as a failure in my eyes ;)

So having endured 2 hours watching long ball shite from their fucking heroes, the lemmings are going to stay behind staging another meaningless protest ?

The thick fuckers are as stupid as the management team and thoroughly deserve each other.

Anyone else find it distasteful they call themselves 1958 after the disaster.
Anyhow the ignore the fact they have spent about 500 million under Ten Bob but as results are poor its the Glazers fault when in reality they should look at Ferguson and why they have the Glazers and look at the manager not getting results

I've recently had the misfortune to see one of the 'certificates' they dole out at the end of their ground and museum tour. It's quite revealing. It's printed on the cheapest paper imaginable and says something like "This is certify that X has experienced the story of our great club in all its glory..."

I have no issue with recognising your past it's important to do so, but the way they do it is so tacky and backward looking, desperately trying to sweat the old brand name and myths.

The Swamp is currently one of those down at heal theme parks neglected for years and living on past glories; the kind you see in American horror movies.

Would be good if their American horror story continues for a while yet!

I didn't know that Twitter had been on the tour, you learn something new everyday - red Twitter twats.

No doubt Sly will broadcast this now over preference of the Brighton/West ham game
