If he was to go tomorrow (which is doubtful) then I wonder if Frimpong would be a decent replacement and if so would he be availbale last minute I wonder.

Not a chance imo. He's too important to his club and it would generally be too big a move to get done from start to finish within less than 24 hours.

I've been begging for this move all summer though so I'd love to be proven wrong.

Deal all done for Nunes was in for his medical today apparently.

Palmer fee as widely published. Khaldoon does not want to sell him but Ferran is pushing for it so Khaldoon willing to accept but wants terms of payment to be hugely favourable.

Bernardo’s new contract does include a £50m release clause next summer

Walker’s contract not signed yet and not covered himself in glory after coming in to training half cut yesterday!

Finally, rumblings of potentially another last minute signing brewing that may happen but no details of who/position etc

I hope Mcatee might stay mate or if he goes i hope we have a surprise loan lined up or we are running pretty thin again with the amount of games we have again this season and the lack of break for our lads this summer.

I thought last year that in any one game, the experienced players could ‘carry’ one youngster, for example Lewis, but that things became harder when we fielded two from the supplementary list and downright difficult with three. With the loss of experience and four new players added to the main list, and the time that will take for them all to gel, we might not have the stability to field even one. For that reason, I reckon McAtee will leave today and that Lewis and Bobb will be the ‘fifth men’ in won games. Just my musings.

I think personally we are one attacking option light mate in fairness and it would be nice to make a deadline day signing but it seems unlikely unfortunately.
