If the Saudis want to join the Champions League they would have to adhere to FFP which if UEFA stuck to their guns would make it impossible. They made a loss of €30m on €70m turnover according to the latest accounts. Add in Benzema’s Kante’s and Fabinho wages (about £300m) and there’s a huge financial disparity. How they find a way to beat FFP would be unbelievable bearing in mind the scrutiny we came under.
Big, huge, massive, bonkers domestic TV deal.

Football has become too Eurocentric, it’s good for the game if MLS keeps growing, Saudi becomes a force in MENA and the African Super League starts closing the gap between African football and everywhere else.

We aren’t going to run out of talented footballers.
I miss watching world cups and seeing great players I'd never even heard of, never mind seen play. They're pretty much all in Europe and at ECL/UEL/CL level clubs already these days.

I have it on good authority that a top Saudi side is putting together an offer for KDB that could top, with ad ons £14 billion pounds.

Big, huge, massive, bonkers domestic TV deal.
Would need a huge dose of financial irregularities, Saudi Investment fund owns 4 clubs and will be subsidising others.

I wouldn’t ever visit Saudi not even for the Club World Cup, think there’s a real risk of attacks on the high profile players out there, they’ll be under constant security , why live in a country like that.

I find it difficult to understand this. Why would the Dippers lose one of best players at this late stage of the season ? I think he may go in the Jan window, but I suppose that depends on how well or badly the Dippers are doing.
Having said that stranger things have happened n football. Its a lot of dosh to turn down for a 31 year old but will the Yanks turn that offer down ?
No, I still expect him to stay until January.

Salah will be sold in this window, no way fsg are refusing that kind of money, declined the first bid to appease the tramps, money talks

As money is no object they'll up their bid. Salah being revered in the Muslim world would be a huge signing for them. He's 31, Liverpool have enough firepower to go until at least January when they'll then have a shitload of money to spend.

They’d be insane to decline that kind of money. I imagine a second, less add-ons based bid, will suffice.
