people go on about his touches, but all game hes making runs and battling usually 2 big center backs , he pulls players out of position leaving space for others, quoting his touches is very lazy form
He’s also having to wrestle with defenders who never get booked for pulling him to the ground - and that’s when he’s nowhere near the ball!!!

So he is on 375k a week, not the 900k a week which was what was in the media inc the Mirror ( 1 million a week) Mail, SportBible, Talksport, The Sun and more all claimed and posted last year.
Then everyone else took with as fact believing the pathetic figures spouted.
IE The Sun:

Inside Haaland’s fortune, from £200m Nike sponsorship deal to £900k-per-week Man City contract and £560m investment

But we also paid his Dad 500m, his agent 150m & his 3rd cousin, twice removed, a billion

Wouldn't sell him even for 250 million. Imagine Madrid having a front 3 of Mbappe (free), Haaland and Vinicius. That's the CL hopes gone for a decade.

Plus they have Bellingham in midfield...the good news - they can't afford them all!

It was just his first year and he already did what he did but he'll get there on " the most decisive games"

Yeah but those teams were concentrating so hard on stopping him, they left the others free. They can't mark everyone and we have the quality to make them pay.

Anyway, you can bet Erling knows he can get better, but in the meantime lets remind the haters what he won in his first season with us...

I'll take his 2 goals against Bayern (the best team City faced last season) over glorified friendlies and the FA semi as the 'most decisive' games.

And he would have had at least 2 against Madrid if Courtois hadn't been at his absolute best. One of the saves was frankly ridiculous.
