Middle East Conflict

Hospitals not enough now the bastions of humanity bombing schools:

At least six people have been killed when a school was hit during air strikes in the al-Maghazi refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, the United Nations says.

Dozens of others were injured, and it's thought the numbers will increase, according to the statement from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

“This is outrageous, and it again shows a flagrant disregard for the lives of civilians," the statement adds. "No place is safe in Gaza anymore, not even UNRWA facilities."

UNRWA says the hit took place during Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

It adds: “At least 4,000 people have taken refuge in this UNRWA school turned shelter. They had and still have nowhere else to go."

Anyone any idea on the likelihood of Iran getting involved in this?
Will depend on Iraq, they have been debating in their parliament whether to call for an enactment of the Joint Arab Defense Treaty, which similar to NATO requires all members of the Arab league to supply military aid in the defence of any member state, which the Palestinian terortries are.

If agreed all memember states would be obliged to be comitted to fighting any agressor against a memeber

At least 500 killed in that hospital strike Palestine are claiming, disgusting if so. How does the pilot live with themselves I'll never know.

Just through the door to this breaking news.

Disgusting, horrific.

The US has to use its influence here and drag Israel back from the precipice because this just can’t be allowed to happen or continue.

It's just enough isn't it? It's got to stop now.

The shutting off of water, food and medical aid was a mistake and a step too far and I said as much at the time.

The bombing of hospitals is so wrong I wouldn’t even know where to begin tbh.
