Suella Braverman - sacked as Home Secretary (p394)

Fairly sure she’ll achieve leadership of the Conservative Party. The former racist fringe of the Tory Party are no longer a fringe and they now control the party. She has the two attributes that will suit them down to the ground. Appalling policies that scapegoat minorities is the first, and the second is that she is brown which enables them to pretend they’re not racist. Fortunately most traditional Tory voters can see how awful she is so I doubt there’s any prospect of her winning an election. There’s a reasonable chance she’ll lose her seat anyway which is the only thing that will prevent my prediction coming true.

Going to private school and having a parent who is a teacher would have helped somewhat. Achieving high grades at A Level is not that difficult.

The Tory party were taken over by UKIP it’s no secret

As for her, she daring Sunak to sack her so she can launch a leadership bid she is being deliberately provocative and she’s dog whistling like mad, it will be bringing back hanging soon

you are right, that will be her campaign platform.

The question is who will she be wanting to hang, presumably start off with murderers and rapist, but she is such a vile piece of work it's not beyond the bounds of imagination to picture her wanting to hang the homeless, doctors going on strike, people wearing Palestinian pin badges, and basically anyone she disagrees with.

What makes you think she's from a normal background? She went to private school and her uncle was the high commissioner to the UK. She's clearly from a privileged family.

Listen, the fact he's tried to point out a positive should make everything else he says inconsequential.
Seriously, there's only bad things to say about this **** because she is the very definition of a bad ****. Anybody who sort of says, "yeah she's not great but" is the worst type of person.

I won't see improvements in my lifetime but I'm happy to pass away knowing that most of the right wing horrible cunts who have ruined the world wlll go as well.

It's going to take another two or three generations I reckon.
 
She's goading sunak into sacking her, goading the right wing press into whipping up a riot and goating the police into the use of excessive force. The Home Secretary, whose primary role is to keep the population safe is potentially inciting hatred for her own ends.

Stand corrected. So she might be a bit thick then (i.e. the entry requirements for Cambridge are WILDLY different for us plebs vs toffs. (I should know, back in 1979 - when A-levels were hard ;-) - I got 4 straight A's inc Maths, Physics and Chemistry, applied to Downing College, Cambridge to do Physics and didn't get in.)

The thing that amazes me about this woman though is not her seeming lack of intelligence, because to be fair she is probably quite bright. It's the STAGGERING lack of political awareness. I mean, I am not the most diplomatic person in the world but even I would sure as hell know that if I described homelessness as a lifestyle choice for some people, (a) it is crass and insensitive, but (b) it would be seized upon by the media and opposition and open me up to all sorts of criticism. As it has done. It was a monumentally stupid comment.
