Just like from the Cockney tradesmen who did work on the house before we sold it.If you pay in cash you can get a discount.

I can’t find a thread about self service tills so I’ll post in here as they’re mentioned several times. It seems Booth’s are reverting back to staff operated tills from self service. Not that I shop in there but I do hope the other supermarkets take note and re-open more staff manned tills. I would doubt the likes of Tesco, Asda will fully revert but most definitely there are many customers who will use these tills just as others will only a few items will use the self service. I notice M&S under the new revamp has added more self service and halved the manned tills. They were ushering you to use the self service all the time I was in there, needless to say, I didn’t.
Fuck that. Was recently in the Lake District, 50p to use the public loo, card only, we saw a poor old bloke outside completely confused, trying to find a slot for his 50p piece, he didn’t have a clue, didn’t even own a debit card, we sorted it out for him but I really do feel for the elderly who just can’t keep up with changes - self check out etc- online banking- they’re being left behind and no one seems to care
The only self service tills that take cash round here are in Morrisons. What have self-service tills got to do with a cashless society? You can put cash in them. If anything, they take up less room so more people can get their shopping done.
If I go out later then I’ll have to pass two cash only pubs before I reach an ATM because I have none on me.

When we eventually go cashless that’ll be all the bad fukers done……..
Forgot drug dealers……Only people who want cash here are beggars and dodgy tradesmen. Cash is done, nobody under 75 uses it.
