For some one married to a 'secular Jewish Lady' it would appear that you are unaware of hamas and their 'insignia' as you call it. The 'headband' is no such thing. Most Arabs wear a shamag on their heads, Palestinians have a tendency to wear a black and white shamag and Europeans tend to wear one as a scarf to show support for the Palestinians and not hamas. When I lived in Bahrain they wore red and white and when with the Omani army ours was dark green. Quite surprised you didn't know that. Palestinians have been wearing the black and white shamag a lot longer than hamas has been around in Palestine.
Wow!! You now know what knowledge I have of the middle east from 2 posts on the bm forum. Lottery numbers for next Saturday please when you have a moment bud!!

You be as sarcastic as you want mate. Just telling you what I have seen today. I'm married to a secular Jewish lady so I'm fully aware of hamas and their insignia. Don't dare accuse me of being far right or a fucking tory. I'm Labour to the bone but seeing the party I have been a member of since 18 years old dally with people like Hamas is truly repugnant. If you're happy to march alongside such people well let that reflect on you!
Oh! you are back.

The IQ of the forum has dropped significantly

There is no "correct" perception, but there has been a reappraisal of Haig in recent years...

You might find this useful to watch....

I'm a member of The Western Front Association it's a treasure trove for anyone interested in the First World War, though it does have a heavy British emphasis.....

This YouTube sight is outstanding....

There's an ocean of books on the First World War, if I had to recommend one it would be...

Probably not a book to jump into without a bit of context but Haig: A Reappraisal 80 Years On is a collection of essays from a variety of historians each taking a different perspective and focusing on specific aspects of his career. It's a great example of how history is very rarely plain and almost never simple.

There was a poster on here that had your username, minus the space, that threatened all sorts of legal threats to people and had some interesting and inflammatory views.

Rascal thinks you are him.
No worries bud. I'm all for debate but keeping polite.

Labour will be in power this time next year and will be in for 3 terms! This government and that lying piece of shit Johnson have ruined this country!
True, but there are quite a few people who refuse to see through the bluster and buffoonery, and discovery the real rancid nature of "fun-loving" Bojo.

There is the nightmare scenario that she manages to topple Sunak and becomes prime minister it’s a bit far fetched but could you imagine it
I’ve been running through a similar nightmare scenario. Labour will win the next election of course but being out of the EU is going to mean negligible economic growth, and there’s the real possibility of a housing crash to accompany the cost of living crisis. I’m not sure there is much of a way out of the hole we are in and it could get deeper and with slippier sides as geopolitics get more unstable.

So there is the chance of an even harder right Tory government in 2029 to rise, nazi like, from the ashes, like Hitler did. She would be the perfect leader because of her brown skin.

We don’t tend to elect extremes as Corbyn found out, I suspect the Tories will lurch far to the right and be out of power for 15 years,

As for the economic prospects, just wait and see, there are new trade talks to be had with the EU, I suspect there will be entry to the SM and CU

Much also depends on the geopolitical situation in the world as well

What was extreme about Corbyn?
