Suella Braverman - sacked as Home Secretary (p394)

If some people actually spent a day with some scary non-white immigrants, they might realise they're the only thing holding together this husk of a country that's been gutted by Tories for 13 years.
So you are happy as long as they are doing the crappy low paid jobs you don't want to do?

Our NHS is being staffed by immigrants (both white and non-white for the record, I was only referring to the previous commenters irrelevant distinction between the two). They are here because our government has failed to adequately train doctors and nurses in this country. They come here because we need them here to fulfil roles in public services - this is the result of the Conservative government's policies and cuts to fund training programs. Yet despite that they are constantly scapegoated as being the root cause of all societies ills - as demonstrated about 2 pages prior.

My in-laws are black immigrants, all working in the NHS and other public services. Call me racist if you want. I am fucking sick to death of people in this country trying to scapegoat my wife who has put in blood, sweat and tears during trying times like the pandemic to help people to the point where there are days she comes home in tears. So forgive me if I get my back up just a little bit over people using terms like 'non-white' immigrants as if the colour of their skin had fucking anything to do with it.

I've got a question for anyone on here.

Explain why diversity is so desirable. And if it is, then will ever changing diversity improve on the diversity we have, or will it be detrimental to the diversity that existed in that moment?

I’m still waiting for you to answer my question!

I asked you about that before as I’m still not sure on the point you were making there, were you referring to people on benefits in general with that or solely to immigrants?
I'm lost. I don't know what you mean. So many updates and messages. Sorry

I am off to bang some pans.

Ah fair enough. You said about it’s on the .gov website backing up the point you made earlier when you said this -

“A lot of people who are not white identiifying are on benefits, in work or out. That's detrimental to the economy“

I was asking whether that was referring solely to immigrants or were you talking about people taking benefits in general? As I don’t get the point you were trying to make there to know what to check on the gov website.

Messageboards in general seem to have been taken over by a legion of Thomas Mair bots.
All spurred on by the likes of Braverman and her ilk.
What a sad state of affairs.

It was about cost to the UK?

There is, according to the website that shall not be named, lots of people on benefits and in work benefits who identify as not white. Whether these are people are born here, came here recent or 20 years ago, it doesn't say. But if we need immigrants to fill jobs this is worth looking into. That was my point

Now you know how I feel!

To give you a less flippant response... I would in an ideal world want our country to be self-sufficient and not relying on imported labour, and then we'd be free to determine an amount of immigration that ensures people coming here enjoy the same quality of life that everybody else here enjoys. Who wouldn't want that?

My point is that the government's policy has done the opposite of this, it's made us heavily reliant on immigrants to fill gaps, and so blaming the immigrants for digging us out of a problem of our government's making seems more than a tiny bit backwards.
