Yep. Watching England is a dispiriting experience these days. I gave them a swerve the other night, and watched the Ukraine vs Italy game instead.

It’s not meaningless though mate, Southgate’s tactics against this side were disappointing at best.. If it was that meaningless, why not go for it and hammer them again, keeping the momentum up and keep the winning mentality
.. All this draw has achieved has add fuel to the waistcoat denouncers (me included) and got fans talking about a piss poor performance rather than another thumping victory over a team ranked outside the top 60 in the world ..

Maybe your memory allows you to forget anything that has happened after 48 hours. It’d explain your ease at forgetting abject England performances.

oops, you’re right I did. England and Southgate’s achievements getting me all giddy.

Going to put my pennyworth in here and my personal view is they can stick Engerland up their collective arse. The amount of times I got giddy with England whilst gods own team where shite I can count on a stoke city’s fan fingers. But joking apart I prefer to watch prem games then watch the distraction of international games that we are involved with and to me it’s mostly lower lg flags you see festooned at wembley and abroad because it’s a release from being the fans having to put up with their lot in life.

Won’t make a loss on him, his book value will £24M or so will definitely get more than that. Possibly make an actual profit
