But typically a lot of their fan base will be unaware of the fact the PL were trying to help them out in the first place, and will also level the accusation of us inflating sponsorships through related parties, whilst being angry their stadium naming rights weren't granted mitigation - despite Usmanov clearly bankrolling a lot of what Everton have done! There's no hypocrisy here!
They should be watching Chelsea more closely than us. They've admitted to financial irregularities and been fined by UEFA. The PL should charge them and can go further back. And there's also the issue over certain transfers made under Abramovich too. Do the PL grant them mitigation because it was a different owner? Or do they go hard?
