This lad is well out of his depth , does not look in the slightest interested , shows no passion of effort he should be busting a gut to impress Pep , and he just strolls about like a Rag player.

People are so so negative. Nunes has played 8 (EIGHT) games for the football club. He’s shown good moments in every single one. People need to calm down on the lad because it’s his second season in England. City is also a huge step up from Wolves too. When do our recruitment ever really ever get it wrong? Calm down and let him settle. He’s probably joined the most competitive position of any club in world football. Let him grow at the club.

Give him time ffs. Just came back from an injury, had little gametime so far and is still settling in. There’s a reason Pep called him one of the best midfielders in the world when he was at Sporting. 99% certain this guy’s gonna be an absolute beast for us

He’s remarkably unpolished for a 25 year old. Tries fancy flicks and tricks, constantly misread situations and frequently goes on marauding runs down blind alleys.

We’ve spent over £120m on him, Kovacic and Phillips. Fuck.

I believe he will be a good player for us in time, but saying you're 99% certain is just biased hyperbole at best. He was no world beater at Wolves and personally I'd have taken Pedro Neto before him, albeit they obviously play in different positions.

Fair to say Nunes and Grealish are now, officially, the Mahrez and Sterling replacements for the angry bluemoon posters who need to slag someone off.

As unorthodox as he looked, I actually thought he was the only one trying to get on the ball.

I gave to admit now though, that he does appear to be part of a strange group of signings.

He and Kovacic are very very close to being on the Kalvin Phillips scrap heap. Not good enough and never will be. Another midfielder that Pep doesn’t trust. We have been pissing money away of late. Our midfield was in need of a rebuild and we made it exponentially worse. Now we still have to rebuild but we’re bloated in there with players that have no long term future here.

Watched him loads for both Wolves and Sporting. Managed to stand out in a dreadful Wolves side in multiple big games. Surrounded by some of the best players in the world and coached by the greatest manager, I’m feeling very certain he’ll turn out to be a good signing

Bloody hell. He's barely played, been injured and coming into a team that looks fucking clueless right now. What are people expecting?

At least let the kid have the opportunity to fail before declaring him a failure.

Was never a buy for the here and now.
